Description

The Jaguar 980 is the largest forage Harvester in harvesting machine specialist class' Range. Thanks to the impressive output of a V12 diesel engine generating 884 bop as well redeveloped drive and harvesting systems This machine is used anywhere with a need to quickly and efficiently harvest large fields. The very detailed model at a scale of 1: 16 is a new addition to BRUDER's agricultural range. The forage harvester's impressive corn header has been equipped with six driven pull-in slides and the silage spout can be turned in any direction. Door and hood open to provide a view of the detailed cab as well as impressive engine to once again underline Bruder mission statement: "Just like the real thing". The replaceable wheels represent a further highlight to additionally boost the toy's value. This great vehicle can be enhanced by the class pick-up accessories (item no. 02325) and the mechanics set (item no. 62100).

My son has wanted his own "chopper" for a while. His uncle is a farmer and has a real claas chopper that my son had ridden in a couple of times. His cousin also has the toy chopper that he would play with whenever over at his house. His birthday is Dec 20 so I ordered it from amazon on dec 18 and thought I would give it as Christmas present but when it arrived the morning of Dec 20 I couldn't wait so I wrapped it up as his birthday present. He got many toys and gifts for his birthday but the chopper was the 2nd to last gift he opened and loved it and screamed "my chopper" His last gift was a John Deere Gator (ride on toy) he liked it but then went right back to his chopper! He loves it and when I asked him what he wanted Santa to bring him for Christmas a few days later he stated....."I already got my chopper!!!" LOL. My son loves big machines with wheels, basically. Garbage trucks, trains, tractors and such. He saw a harvester in a field and was fascinated. I used it as a teaching moment about farming and was amazed at how that kept his attention. This Bruder harvester is just like the real thing, with a mechanically driven set of gears and wheels that spin the implement on the front as you push the vehicle. This has amazed his friends, too, and it has them all playing farmer. One word of caution, it gets snagged in grass because the wheels in the harvesting attachment spin and grab the grass like it would corn or hay, but being plastic, they won't cut the grass. You have to back the tractor up to release the grass. Other than that, it's great. ... show more

I got this for my son when he was almost 2. It was too young. It’s really taken a beating. The header is completely destroyed, the spout is broken off, the lights, door, everything. Now he’s 3.5 and I realize it was my mistake getting it so early. But he LOVES chopping. Love love loves this toy. I’m gonna need to get him a new one. Now he’s older he ok most likely take care of it a bit better. ... show more

we bought this for our visiting 6y/o nephew to play with while he was visiting from WI. needless to say when it arrived(while he was here)the look on his face was priceless--he thought it was xmas in july and there was no way he wasn't taking it home, so he carried it throught the airport and on the plane--literally, on his lap--he did not want it shipped home or even in bag, much less luggage. he loves it and played with non stop--and we hear still is! and has begun making a list for xmas in december--he needs accessories=)nothing has fallen apart and he is not gentle. he has many many tractors (as he is a farmer) and this is his favorite right now and will most likely stay in the top 5 for years to come. he couldn't wait to show his cousins and friends back home. ... show more

Our farm loving child had been asking for a chopper for months but I was not finding the chopper that I wanted in terms of heavy duty and function. This has help up great, all features move and are sturdy. It’s not a cheap plastic piece of toy farm equipment like you often see!
