These are a lot nicer than I expected. I've recently ordered another brand of blackout curtains to block the glare from both the sun and a streetlight on our TV, but they weren’t nearly as nice as these. The triple-weave polyester material feels soft and smooth, and the print is attractive. Our old and poorly insulated single pane bay window lets in a lot of outside noise, and while these curtains don’t completely block it, the thickness does help muffle some of the traffic and neighborhood sounds. The sun also heats up my living room a lot through this window, and these curtains do a good job keeping that area quite a bit cooler. The grommets at the top make them easy to hang as well as open and close. The only thing I dislike is that I get a bit of light at the top through the grommet holes. If they had used a pocket at the top instead of grommets for hanging, these would have been perfect. That being said, I think it's a lot better than what I had, and these curtains add a lot of appeal to the look of my living room.window. ... show more
