I barely know where to start... as a long time brooks revel wearer (I've owned revel 1, 2 &3's) I am well versed in this particular style of shoe. i started wearing it 3 years ago as it is the only athletic shoes that helped my plantar fasciitis. This re-design for revel 4 is complete trash. They have down graded the fabric of the shoe to a very thin, flimsy, cheap plastic feeling fabric. Though, my biggest complaint is that the achilles notch (the back part above your heel) has no cushion or padding now, they also raised it so it sits higher on your ankle. These changes have caused two results, the shoe rubs against your heel as you walk and it doesn't secure the shoe well onto your heel which causes friction as it rubs. This leads to blisters on your heel. Due to these awful changes they have made with these redesigns the shoe now fits a half size too big as well because they removed what helps the shoe fit snugly to your foot (thicker quality fabric as well as the cushioned achilles notch). Furthermore, when ordering I had purchased both the denim blue and the black/coral pair. I was only sent the black pair but charged for both. After having to file a complaint through amazon the company has agreed to refund me for the missing pair. TLDR: Don't waste your money or your feet will regret it.

As a Brooks user of several years, I was shocked and dismayed by the poor quality of materials and workmen ship. I was even more shocked to see some 5 star ratings! Either these are first time users or shills. I put on less than one mile and experienced foot pain. The laces are like string the heel box is lower than usual and started to rub and pull at the sock. I returned them immediately. I usually put on 40-50 miles per week and need the quality that Brooks was famous for. I do not know what to do now.

These Brooks shoes (a brand I was not familiar with) are worn and were highly recommended by the entire team at my physical therapy center. (And, no, they have no endorsement agreement.) I ordered one pair and have been using them for a week. They are very flexible and breathe, but have excellent support and a very well constructed sole and foot bed, without being clunky or ungainly. The heel is particularly well designed in that it doesn't extend in the high "V" that so many running and exercise brands now use. And they look great. I was previously a devoted user of another very good brand (initials, "NB"), but these are my new favorite exercise and walking around shoe. I'll be ordering another pair very soon.

I have had 3 pairs of Revel shoes. If you line all of them up you can see and feel a huge difference in quality. I love the previous fit and support. I also tried the launch 6 and my foot and knees ached after a couple hours. So I returned back to the Revel. These are better however I wish the quality was better. I struggle to get my foot in the shoe. They fit however the material is thin and collapses as soon as your heal touches it. The outer material is not comfortable or supportive. I will have to start searching for another shoe. I don't think these will last long.

Average feeling shoe. Not a ton of arch support. Mine has a manufacturing flaw and the glue line is visible on the outside of the left shoe which kind of resembles mud that wasn't washed out. Debating on returning because these are a gift for my daughter. The shoe is lightweight and super cute. Adequate for average wear but if you work in retail and are standing in a concrete floor all day (like me), this may not be the most comfortable option. It does feel fairly breathable which may be a plus for those with hot feet.

I really like the Revel 4 running shoes by Brooks. I put them on right out of the box and wore them for the rest of the day. Fit is perfect. I like the mesh as it is cooler in the hot summer months. Service was great. Very happy with my purchase.
