One of the best tennis shoes I’ve ever owned! I’m big into exercise and love walking. I aim for 20k-30k steps per day and a lot of that comes from treadmill walking when I’m not hiking. With treadmill walking I definitely need a supportive shoe that still has great cushioning or I get crazy foot cramps. I also just slightly overpronate and old injuries cause my feet to swell a bit. I also have sacroiliac joint pain so I need shoes that help lower back pain and alignment; it’s not crazy bad but something that cheap unsupportive shoes aggravate. I used to swear by AS!CS GT 2000 models but the last few releases have been so uncomfortable. I also heard great things about Brooks so I did some research and decided to invest in these. I’m glad I did because these fit every need. They’re beyond comfortable; the insole reminds me of Clark’s Cloudstepper shoes which are crazy comfortable just these have more targeted support and recovery. My back feels better, my feet swell less, and my persistent foot cramps are probably 95% better. The fit is great, roomy in the toe box so no pinching, I don’t have wide feet but I dislike if my toes feel cramped. I’d say these maybe run just a hair big. Size is my go to size for tennis shoes but it generally takes a few weeks of wear to scratch the shoe a bit for that size to feel perfect. These size 7s fit out of the box like I’ve had those few weeks of wear; which is great as long as they don’t stretch more. I’ve worn them for about a week and they haven’t really stretched so I think the size will remain fine. However if you’re between sizes I’d maybe recommend sizing down instead of the normal size up rule with tennis shoes. These are expensive shoes but for me they’re 100% worth it and I will purchase again when I need a new pair; they seem durable so hopefully they’ll last longer than most shoes. Highly highly recommend especially for anyone with foot and back pain or for anyone who puts a lot of miles on their shoes. Bonus I normally don’t run because of foot pain but jogging on the treadmill actually felt good in these so I’d say great for runners too! ... show more

The best design and fit yet!! Wow! They are so comfortable and stable. The inside padding around the heel is the best! I have narrow heels and they usually slip out. Not anymore! On top of that, they are the coolest looking sneakers! Thanks, Brooks!

    • Help for pain from over pronation

I have over pronation that caused pain from my hip to my knee, and was becoming debilitating. I have a doctors appointment but used Chat GPT and Amazon AI to determine that this was the best shoe for me. And it was. My feet are very wide at the toe box but narrow at the heel. Based on the reviews on the wide toe box the shoe has, I did not order wide. It fits almost perfect. It’s a tiny bit too narrow, but I loosened the strings, and it’s very close. I’ll order an 8W next time, but those are usually too big at the heel. Ugh. I felt immediate relief once I put them on. My feel hurt the first few days but that went away. They take a bit to get used to. Worth it! The pain in my hip to knee is gone almost one week later. I’m able to cross my legs and sleep on my side, which I had not been able to do. I’m just waiting on a good sale to order more 😉 ... show more

    • Good Value but Not as Good as Brook's Older Styles!

I would have given 5 stars, but they've changed the material in back of the heel. It's slightly abrasive. My feet are slightly different in size, but I can wear a 7&1/2 shoe. Both are a good fit, but the one that fits a little more snug in the back of the heel seems to be a little uncomfortable there. I will always have to wear thin socks that fit well and have a certain amount of elasticity in them, so there is absolutely no slight bunching. I also put a little aloe cream on that heel before putting my sock on. It may be that my skin is drier at age 75 and heel skin is very sensitive. I kept these shoes because no other shoes seem to be as comfortable. I have some very old ones by Brooks that have a similar (roomy) toe box that is much more comfortable than other shoes. One other reason it didn't get 5 stars is the padding could be a little more and I would like more arch support than this shoe offers. Again, the old ones were better, and I'd be willing to pay more for the better shoes! ... show more

The Brooks Adrenaline has been my go-to running shoe for over a decade, and it continues to be my all-time favorite. It provides a smooth, cushioned landing with just the right amount of rebound, making it comfortable for everything from daily training to long runs. The sizing has generally been consistent, but I recommend reading the release notes for each new version since Brooks occasionally makes updates that can affect the fit or feel. I love my brooks. They are so comfortable. I was seconding between the gts24 and gts25. There is a huge difference between the two. There is no cushion in the front of the shoe in last years model and alot more at the back and front in this years model. I would definetly recommend this shoes to anyone who has flat feet. I where a size 7.5 wide. As I walk my feet spread so the wide gives my feet space to spread and not feel squished as I walk. They are lightweight and I got mines in black . I wish there were more color options, but overall I’m satisfied with my purchase. ... show more
