I'm a little over 200 lbs and while many of the ShoeTubers say the Ghost Max are too firm, they actually strike just the right balance of soft and supportive for me as a somewhat heavier runner. I do a lot of walking and some running, mostly easy runs, 25+ miles per week. I have mild plantar fasciitis. I've recently gone through Revel 7 and Ghost 15. Currently on Glycerin 20. Glycerin almost feel too soft, which seems to make it a little harder to run in. Pretty big heel cushion on those too. Almost too much. Today, I laced up the Ghost Max and went out for a test run. I was just going for a little break-in and launched into a full on 5k because the shoes just wanted to run! WOW! These shoes do everything right for me. Excellent fit. Excellent cushion. Excellent mild rocker. I even feel like the foam is giving me a little energy back with each step! I land somewhere between heel and midfoot and my shoes tend to wear out more toward the midfoot. Shoes are a very personal thing, so take all the reviews with salt. :-) But, I LOVE these shoes! LOVE LOVE LOVE I just hope the Ghost Max II isn't a step backwards with the Glycerin style foam. And note to ShoeTubers: please try to keep in mind that not every runner in your audience is built like you are and little extra weight can really change how shoes feel and perform. :-)

These shoes are absolutely amazing. I work in a industrial environment and am on my feet 8-12hrs a day and before these shoes my feet were killing me so I decided to drop the money and get theses shoes and my god I don't ever want to take them off! So comfortable and literally feels like your floating! If I had to knock them for one thing it's they are more or less fully open so they can breathe well but that also means water or anything of the sort will 100% get your feet soaked so definitely no walking or running on rainy days because these shoes offer 0 protection against any type of liquids. But overall well worth the money trust me!

These are the most comfortable walking and everyday shoes I’ve worn. I typically wear ghost, but these take cushioning and support to another level. Love putting them on to go for a walk. Durability has become a concern as the sole is wearing significantly after several months of indoor use and some walking outside. Even with the durability concerns I would buy them again.

Had to switch to these because my old Hoka One One's were no longer available. Not a problem! These are way cheaper, fit my feet better, and have thus-far outlasted the Hokas by a long time. Little bit tight at first but they stretched out in like 2 days. Several months in they've got almost the exact same spring as when I bought them. Which the springiness is actually kinda fun. Also if you're a short dude, these have enough cushion to add 1/4in to 1/2in more to your height than most shoes ;). Just love them.

Gorgeous shoes! I always buy my husband shoes because he loves them so much- for his birthday, for Christmas, for our anniversary, etc. he said he wanted blue shoes this time so I scoured Amazon to find the coolest shoes I could and I settled on these dark but bright blue with a dark soles. I literally gasped and my mouth fell open when I opened the box. They are stunning! I know it sounds a little overboard, but I’m here to tell you they are beautiful shoes! My husband has issues with rolling outwards, but these shoes will not let him. The heel is solid and square and won’t allow him to tilt out, which is first and foremost, He also has spine issues and he was able to wear these right out the box all day long and even put them on the next day and here we are the third day and he is still wearing them. I was going to take a picture and look for them because my husband is mowing the grass. I Looked outside and realized he is still wearing them! They are that comfortable!! although I’m going to have to look at him sideways wearing them while mowing 😮💨. He loves them and I do too! They are really lightweight and really for the money versus those trendy expensive ones these are more comfortable and don’t allow his heel to roll out as mentioned before. With the other ones, The material was netting and it was Like he was basically falling out of his shoes on the outer edges. I don’t see that happening with these. 👏🏻🤩

The Brooks Ghost Max Cushion Shoe is the best of many shoes I have tried over the decades for my hallux rigidus foot problem, in which the big toe has lost its cartilage resulting in pain when flexed. Once I tested the Amazon delivered Brooks shoes, I immediately ordered a second pair to wear around the house. I no longer suffer pain from big toe flexing due to the Brooks Ghost rocker sole and high cushioning that minimize flexing and pressure on my big toe.
