Got these shoes about 7 months ago. I work in a hospital and am on my feet all day walking room to room and floor to floor. I average walking 9-10 miles a day and these have held up good. Fit well and are comfortable. I was wearing Brooks but they got too expensive and I didn’t think they were as well made as they used to be. These ASICS are a very reasonably priced alternative.

I was not expecting this to be as successful as it is. Honestly, I buy and return a bunch of stuff because usually it disappoints me. But this shoe feels fantastic! I have flat feet and these fitted perfectly with my inserts inside them. You do have to undo the laces across the top a little bit otherwise it will feel like it's trying to strangle your foot. But, once you do that, this shoe fits perfectly, is light, is fun to walk on, and looks cool! I give it more than five stars if it was an option.

These are a nice, breathable workout sneaker for the price. They do, however, have a rather firm midsole. So unless you have never had any issues with knee pain, it's probably best to avoid these for high volume running on pavement or harder surfaces (treadmills seems to be Ok). I've struggled with some joint pain (esp. knees) that re-surfaced while I was wearing these and got much over 20 miles a week running on pavement. Going to a more cushioned model helped resolve this knee pain. But if you have a lower BMI, good running form, and no history of joint pain, these might be great for you. On the positive, these were very comfortable out of the box, fit my average width feet well, and offered good support. I wear between a size 10 1/2 and a size 11 (men's) most of the time, and the 10 1/2s fit my foot well. I'm not really thrilled with the insoles on these; they are a fairly cheap looking foam and, although not initially glued in, get stuck to midsole over time and tend to tear when you try to remove them for drying, etc. Although very breathable, the uppers are a little flimsy and developed some holes pretty quickly. I got a bit over 200 miles out of these before the outsoles started wearing through in the toe area. I don't have the best running gait and tend to supinate a bit, so your mileage may vary. If you want a nice pair of good value sneakers for walking, working out at the gym, and/or running off pavement, these should be comfy, very breathable, and supportive for most folks. If, however, you have a history of knee pain and/or plan to run a lot on pavement, it's probably best to find something with a softer midsole and/or more overall cushion. Also, you can probably find a more durable outsole in more mid to high end models.

I image these would be great for jogging too but I’m just using for waking about 3 miles each morning. After several months still comfortable. 2nd pair. Shouldn’t have worked in previous pair and ended up getting paint on them but they’re still in good shape for working after years of use.

Got these to replace version 10's we got over the summer that are wearing out. Cheaper than the newest version but just as good! Comfortable. The wide fits well. Easier to find the right size and price for wide feet online, so grateful for these shoes.

Love these shoes! My husband wears them to the gym and loves them. I like the design and the durability of the soles. The grip is very nice. Fits true to size might run more narrow

I'm thrifty and hate to shop for athletic shoes - bought a pair of these Asics years ago at Academy and have been buying them since. I have 3 pair right now in various states of wear; 1 Like new, 2 Well-worn and 3 Totally disreputable looking. I'm on my feet all day and these are very comfortable when new. I doubt they'd hold up for long for runners but for everyday athletic shoe they're fantastic.
