I went in search of a lighter weight version of the Glycerine 19 GTS and I found it. I’ve battled plantar fasciitis over the past year or so. I’ve spend thousands on treatment and shoes and boots and then stumbled across a retired marathon and endurance racer who battled the same. She got me pointed in the right direction in a stability shoe. If you over pronate or are looking for a stability running shoe the GTS will probably work for you. I'm a big guy and these shoes give great arch and heel support. The toe box is more comfortable than the Ravenna 10. Took a minute off my first 4 mile run in these shoes.

I have been running on Brooks for the better part of 6 years. I average 25 to 30 miles a week, and these are light and comfortable. I am 6'2", 215 lbs. Deffantly cushion the road, and work well on mixed roads.

Brooks seems to be keeping with running shoes for serous runners and HIIT workouts. Nice product but I think they run a half size big.

I love Brooks shoes. I have a variety of running shoes and I do lean to Asics or Saucony shoes for longer runs, but I find myself consistently coming back to Brooks for training shoes. I can't even describe the different feel well because it is just sort of a comfort on any given running day. I don't remember every tweaking an ankle in Brooks. I don't notice any heel slip and the shoes fits well. I have a pair of Hoka shoes I love, but sometimes my foot slips forward in the shoe over long runs. These don't seem to do that, although I do prefer them for 5k runs or sprint interval training days. ... show more

I only buy brooks. The launch gts 8 was kind of a disappointment. Not as comfortable and I don't like the paper thin tongue. I would say go with the regular launch or the adrenaline series.
