This met my expectations for warmth and quality of material.The only reason I did not give this five stars is because even though it is wonderful for relaxation, I find the shoulder area too bulky and heavy to do every day chores around the house. I purchased a medium size.

Very fluffy and comfortable. Has, well had, a lot of fabric pills on the fabric. Got a little too close to the gas stove and it went up just like in the movies. No harm, but I was standing stark nude in the kitchen during brekky for a moment in time. Ah, memories. :P Washed it and it is fine.

I purchased this as a birthday gift for my wife. Based on the description and some reviews I decided to go with this instead of another brand known to be soft and plush. While this robe is of good quality, weight and is well made, it is far from plush. I expected it to be very soft and tender to the touch, it is neither. We did follow the washing instructions before the first use. It might have gotten slight softer to the touch after the initial wash and drying, but was not plush. Perhaps as it is worn more and has another few washes it might soften up. I am not happy with this but my wife is happy and wants to keep the robe so we will. Bought this as a “cotton” wedding anniversary for my wife and she absolutely loves it. She loves the luxurious feel, the perfect weight, thickness and length.
