I bought multiple strands of these lights. It’s a little hard to change the settings using the remote. It has to point directly at the little box where they plug in at, so unless you don’t try to hide the wires and outlet with your Christmas tree your going to have a hard time using the remote. With that being said if you find the colors and movement that you like and set a timer they will turn on and off every night and day themselves so you won’t have to worry about it unless you want to change something. They are so pretty and the white is a really bright white. The colors you have 2 options. You can choose either lighter colors or darker colors depending on your preference. They do have a setting that will switch from all the colors and it can be fast or slow or you can leave solid color or solid white and some others. I think it’s like 9 different settings. Definitely worth the money. This is my 3rd Christmas using these lights so they last a while too ... show more

The remote is worthless, unless your standing within sight of the sensor on lights, so about 3 feet here (even changed batteries). I do wish there was a way to set your own timer for how long they are on. I bought 2 sets and it was more than plenty for my 7’ tree. ... show more

These lights are absolutely beautiful in any of the non-changing or flashing modes. They lose 1/2 a star because the modes that change or flash are too complex. A single mode has varying rates of flash and/or color change. The change would be wonderful if it was a continual (preferably slower) fade, but ultimately it speeds up WAY to fast and ends up like a strobe light. They also lose 1/2 a star because there is no standard plug at the end of the string. It has a proprietary round plug that allows you to connect like strands, but when it comes to a lighted tree topper, you are out of luck. We had to run an extension cord to the top of our tree which looks a bit ridiculous. In short, if you dont have a lit tree topper or just want solid lights, you'd be hard pressed to find a nicer set! Love the timer and multiple color options. But was a nightmare to untangle. I know it's just over 100 ft and should expect some tangling, but this was A LOT. I bought just under 200 feet from a different company on Amazon and came nicely wrapped and easy to deal with.

The solid white and the pastel colors are very pretty, and the brightness is great. One of these was enough for our about 7 ft tree. However the ad says 11 modes, the instruction booklet shows 11 number buttons, and our remote only has 8. Numbers 1 - 4 appear to do nothing at all. Whatever setting its already on just flashes off for a second and back on when pressing 1, 2, 3 or 4. (This is with fresh batteries and about 10 ft from the sensor.) Then one of them is the solid white, one is pastel colors, one is solid colors, a couple are flashing but they are crazy fast and I don't understand when anyone would be able to use that. I'm not returning it because I really only wanted solid white anyway, and I like the pastel colors. But if you're buying this because it has 11 modes, don't because it doesn't. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Overall pretty good. Best bang for the buck i have seen this year. Remote is included and works well. If the remote does not work or gets lost the driver box has a button to cycle the modes. The first few options on the remote all seem to do the same thing, but the key feature for me was the dimmer adjustment. I have mine set at the lowest and it looks great. Brighter settings look good but a little too much light for my taste. I did my whole tree with a single set and i have a spare set i plan to use on my front porch. Overall i am happy with them ad they were MUCH cheaper with better options compared to the big box store offerings. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Purchased 2 sets of these lights back in October for use in December. So far 3/4's of the way thru the month of December and I couldn't be happier with the purchase. Put one set on the Christmas tree, and the other for outside. The remote control is the best thing with the lights. 11 settings, 6 and 8 hour timer so it shuts off before morning.
