The media could not be loaded. I purchased these, as well as the "Brizled Color Changing Fairy Lights" -- as far as I can tell they are the same product. Get whichever is the most economical. These are pretty interesting lights: they're bright, the colors are accurate and vibrant, and they are indeed individually addressable LEDs. The built-in effects are pretty good too! You get a handful of settings and the remote is full-featured. But the effects on offer definitely do not take full advantage of what's possible with addressable LED strings... they should be capable of a lot more. If you do some searching you'll find some info on the WLED forums about them. They use a proprietary chip that appears to be compatible with the standard WS2812 protocol, so it's worth experimenting with a WLED controller. I used an ESP8266 mini board (cheap) with WLED flashed to it, reused the power supply from this set, and connected the data directly to a GPIO pin on the board. They lit right up and after entering the string length (200) everything worked just fine. Apparently, you can't hook two of these strings end-to-end, as somehow the ID of each individual light is hard-wired into the light, unlike normal WS2812s, which index in the order the lights are chained. This means you can inject the data at any point on the line and it "just works." If you want two strings, you need to have two segments in WLED, and two GPIO pins with independent data signals. You'd also want a bigger power supply anyway, so you probably don't want to do multiple strings with one controller unless you know what you're doing, and in that case you're probably not hacking a cheap fairy light string, heh. What do you get for your trouble? WLED (look it up!) is capable of a wild number of effects and colors, as well as automating, synchronizing different strings, and more. It's very powerful. Anyway, great success overall! I have a couple other WLED-powered strings around, so this means I can integrate this one into the effects. I love the different look and smaller lights this offers. So far they're holding up well and it was a very affordable way to get 66 feet of lights. I put one string in my window with a WLED controller, but with this string, I made two battery-powered color changing lights for inside out pumpkins. Definitely a DIY project but very possible and these lights work great!

I bought these to go on some holiday decorations that would stay up during several seasons, so the remote control option to change the colors of the strand is ideal. The “twinkle” option is really just blinking on and off. I do wish there was a way to apply some of the different effects in a specific color, but that’s probably out of the price range of the non-smart option. Also, I wish some of the colors were more true to the remote. The white is more of a blue, the yellow is clearly a lime green. Again, you get what you pay for. Still worth it if you aren’t using it for the white lights.

I love that they can be dimmed or made brighter depending on your needs. The remote has so many options to choose from: colors, flashing, steady blink, multi-color flashing, . There are even preset color combinations. There are so many uses for these lights. Was pleasantly surprised. I had them on for about an hour and the lights didn't seem to heat up like normal bulb sets do. That was perfect for the use I had in mind for them. The wire makes positioning much easier than with traditional light sets. But the wire is also a downside for me. The light set came wrapped in a circle, as I tried to unwind it they became tangled. It was difficult keep the set untangled as I worked to set them up. So far that would be the only drawback for me. I just received the set today so as far as durability I will have to edit my review sometime in the near future if a reason to arises. I have the lights set up behind my homemade Halloween window display. I love them and will be ordering more soon to use for Christmas decorating.

My bedroom is 10x11ft and these lights wrap around with plenty of spare to square off my TV and computer desk for some extra pretty design work. They're a nice ambient light if you just use the white, and they've got great holiday colors or single solid colors. Brightness is really great and ranges from dim enough to sleep or bright enough to use in lieu of a lamp. I have them on almost 24/7. Easy to set up, hard to break. Don't lose the remote, though. I had purchased a set years ago and lost the remote to it, and no remote I purchased (even after asking the seller) worked on that set. Minor issue since I was the idiot who lost the remote in the first place, lol.

Man do these pack a punch! Added these to the tree after putting on other hung ornaments and they worked well and we're easy to put on. I love the brightness and all the settings. One drawback is the remote really only works right next to the clicker on the cable which sort of makes it useless almost but you can get several more things out of the lights with the remote that aren't on the pre-set settings.

The packaging comes small and you’re going to pull out the lights and be like…. This is tiny!!! How would it fit!? Lol but they fit my 7ft tree perfectly. Has a button on the cord where you can press it on and off or different modes incase you loose the remote. I noticed changing my Roku tv that it changed the mode on the lights though lol not a problem with me but might be for someone else.

These lights were easy to use. Download the app and hook-up to Blue Tooth. There was no remote! I like the app, very similar to the expensive Twi**y. These Fairy Lights were the only Lights I could find that had a silvery/champagne coloring to the wire! All of the other lights out there have green wire. My tree had lights already but I wanted PINK & PURPLE & and BLUE. Lights are easy to use with the app! Try them you won't be disappointed.

I really liked these lights. It has lots of options for different effects. Although a couple of them look the same to me. It has one that looks like it could be used for a fire effect so I might try that next year by adding some wood under my cauldron. The only thing I wish it had was a true purple color, but that seems to be the hardest color to get in any lights set.
