  • Great every day carry bottle
Size: 36 oz Color: Sea Glass
I got the biggest 36oz plastic version and I love it. I like that it is leak proof when closed, I filled the bottle and put it in a coffee cup upside down and left it overnight and it didn't loose a drop. The filter seems to work in that the water always tastes the same and feels clean with no weird taste or smells. I like I can fill from any public sink or fountain and the water tastes as good as bottled. Also because the filter is in the straw I put ice in the bottle and the taste doesn't change as the ice melts like when I add non filtered ice to my filtered water from my pitcher at home. Filters are cheap and last 2 or more months so you can get a years worth of filters for about $10. You can get a bottle and replacement filters for a year for the cost of about 15 bottles of water. I have seen complaints that over time the mouth piece gets nasty and hard to clean. I haven't had that problem yet but it is replaceable so I don't understand the issue maybe they were not aware. This is a good solution for someone who wants to have clean tasting water tap water if you want to drink from a lake or pond this isn't the filter system for you ... show more

  • Things to know about Quality
Size: 26 oz Color: Night Sky
Highlights: • great quality for everything but nipple • nipple flakes after 5-6 weeks of everyday use • new nipples can be pretty expensive • you will probobly need to replace the nipple every 5-6 weeks • great taste and filter quality I have been using this bottle for about 5 weeks now and it has been great. The bottle keep water at a little lower than room temperature. I have dropped it a few time and it had nothing more than a scratch. The handle is very comfortable and a perfect size if you have larger hands. It is easy to clean and very nice looking. I bought this because my city water has a very harsh chlorine like taste. With this bottle the taste is almost completely gone, only a small taste left from cleaning. My one and only complain, which is why I am writing this review, is that the bottle nipple (ha ha funny word) started to fall apart. In the last week I have noticed quite a few times that the nipple would have flakes on it and soon discovered that the nipple was peeling. Not a great feeling to have flakes in your water. I don't know why it is doing this but it is a little concerning as i am auto immune compromised and can't allow bacteria to glow on my bottles which is why I loved how easy it was to clean this bottle till now. Now with this in mind you can buy nippel replacements. which he makes me love this bottle even more. Even then the replacements can be pretty spendy so I just want to let people know to expect to replace it every 5 to 6 weeks. ... show more

  • Great bottle
Size: 26 oz Color: Night Sky
Got this for my child for school. Their water tastes terrible my kids say. There were some reviews that said it was hard to drink from. I didn’t have this issue. I also bought the insulated one for my oldest. Both work well. Make sure to not swallow the first few sips just to make sure you got the extra carbon out. Also make sure to rinse and don’t leave water in bottle for too long and the first sip after you refill bottle will most likely be warm. Not too heavy and easy to use for my 8 yr old. Great buy! ... show more

  • Brita Insulated Filtered Water Bottle - A Step Towards Pure Hydration, With Minor Quirks
Size: 36 oz Color: Night Sky
If someone had told me that a water bottle could have a profound impact on my daily hydration habits, I would have been skeptical. However, having used the Brita Insulated Filtered Water Bottle, I now stand corrected. With its 36-ounce capacity and on-the-go filtration system, this bottle has been a faithful companion in my daily routine, whether I’m hitting the gym or navigating a busy workday. Although my experience has been overwhelmingly positive, there are a few caveats to consider. Here’s an in-depth exploration of the product, which aims to offer a balanced view of its merits and areas where there is room for improvement. 🥤 Enhanced Hydration: A Commitment to Purity One of the standout features of this Brita bottle is its built-in filtration system. It’s not just a gimmick; it genuinely improves the taste and purity of tap water. During my multiple trials, I filled the bottle with tap water from various sources, and each time, the end result was crystal-clear water that tasted far superior to its unfiltered counterpart. Although the filter may not replace the need for serious water purification methods, it does make a noticeable difference, encouraging me to drink more water. ❄️ Insulation: Cold for Hours, Not All Day The bottle promises to keep your water cold for hours, and it does deliver on that to some extent. However, it falls slightly short of my expectations when compared to some other insulated bottles in the market. While it manages to keep water reasonably chilled for 5-6 hours, don’t expect icy cold refreshment if it’s been sitting all day. This aspect could see improvement to match the high standards set by competing brands. 👟 Portability: Gym-Friendly but Bulky for Travel The bottle is designed with an ergonomic handle, making it a convenient pick for gym-goers. However, it’s essential to point out that the 36-ounce size, while excellent for hydration, does add a bit of bulk, making it less suitable for light traveling or fitting into smaller bags. That said, the straw design allows for easy sipping, and the leak-proof seal ensures you won’t have a mess to clean up. 🍼 Material and Construction: BPA-Free and Built to Last The bottle is made of BPA-free plastic, which is a significant plus for health-conscious users. It feels sturdy and well-constructed, giving the impression that it will withstand the rigors of daily use. However, a downside is that the exterior surface tends to pick up scratches rather easily. While this doesn’t affect the bottle’s performance, it can mar its aesthetic appeal over time. 🔄 Maintenance: Filter Replacement and Cleaning Keeping the bottle clean is a straightforward process, but it does require disassembly to clean all the components effectively. The filter also needs replacing every two months or after filtering 40 gallons of water, which adds a recurring cost. While this isn’t a deal-breaker, it is an aspect to consider in the long-term use of this bottle. 💵 Value for Money: A Worthwhile Investment with Caveats The price point is on the higher end for a water bottle, but when you consider the built-in filtration system and insulation features, it seems like a fair deal. However, do factor in the cost of filter replacements in your budget. A 4-star rating reflects the overall value this bottle offers, considering its features and the ongoing costs. 🌟 Final Thoughts In sum, the Brita Insulated Filtered Water Bottle offers an array of features that encourage hydration and offer the convenience of clean, filtered water on the go. However, it isn’t without its quirks. The insulation could be better, it’s somewhat bulky for travel, and ongoing maintenance costs can add up. Therefore, while it excels in delivering on its core promises, there’s room for slight improvements. For those considering this bottle as their hydration companion, I hope this comprehensive review guides you in your decision-making process. Happy hydrating! 🥤🌿 ... show more
