The light go all around the board and there is a lighted section for the hole as well ... I did not know that and had bought another type of light! Sent those back cua lights work great!

Overall these are fine. However, I feel they could be brighter (I got white). Also, due to the fact these leds are encased in a round tube, it is hard to secure them in a way that is durable and does not interfere with gameplay. The recommendation is to attach them to the top of the board which is really not an option in my opinion. Instead I attached to the sides, but with small brackets and constantly moving my boards, they fall out easily. Would be much better if they were flatter and could attached with an adhesive to the boards. ... show more

    • Not worth it...waste of money!!!

The make the boards stand out and takes the game into overtime without spotlights. That's about all the good things I can say about these. My reccomendation is dont buy these. Where do I start? From a design standpoint these are terrible. The adhesive for velcro patches doesn't stick to back of boards. I had to use auto grade 2sided tape to hold them to the boards. The next problem is the battery case itself. Instead of placing the weight of the batteries on the back piece it's on the front closure part which simply clicks in place..AWFUL!! Every time a bag hits the board the battery pack is knocked off and hits the ground. If that's not enough the gauge wire is so thin and short that as the pack continuously falls it eventually snaps the thin wire. Now only my lights around the hole light but the battery pack still doesnt stay in place. This is a flawed design and not worth the waste of money. My 12 year old nephew was able to trouble shoot and offer much better design to make these functional. That should about sum up what you need to kno to not purchase this product. I would give this no stars if I could. ... show more

It was a little time consuming putting them on...Just need a drill and a decent hammer. One box does do TWO boards. The lights for the hole does only wrap around 80% of the hole, so obviously I favored it towards the back. The perimitter lights went all the way around with about 6 inches extra to overlap (on regulation sized boards) I've ran them through 3-4 of long nights playing with no real issues yet and on the same batteries (batteries not included) Some of the pins to hold the lights on did get pushed/knocked out during transport in the back of my truck, but they pop back in easily. And the light they put off is ample, enough to add mood lighting in that area. Good buy for the price. ... show more
