Description

The GoSports Wooden Cornhole sets are handcrafted from 100% wood to provide the ultimate cornhole experience. The top surface is ½ in varnished cabinet- grade plywood (ACA regulation), that provides the perfect amount of slide. Both sizes are made using handcrafted pine wood frames, featuring mitered corner joints which are far superior to the shoddy construction of the homemade style sets. The wooden legs are retractable and are held in place by robust 3/8 in galvanized steel bolts with wing nuts. Best of all, the set weighs only 38 pounds without sacrificing gameplay. Compare that to the traditional homemade style sets that weigh in at a backbreaking 60+ pounds! While the games come with a traditional varnished wood surface, they can easily be painted or customized with NFL or NCAA decals. The set includes 8 regulation size all-weather cornhole bags and a robust carrying case. The bean bags are filled with recycled plastic pellets, and unlike corn, they will not rot if they get wet.

Let me start of by saying I researched for hours every possible place I could buy a cornhole set. I checked every set they had and matched prices. Once I got an average price I checked the reviews on the price range I was comfortable with. I was wanting a Denver Bronco set, but they were all running 200 or more and I was looking at a 6 week waiting period to receive it. Then I read the reviews for this set. A smooth plain surface that I can add a decal too and for a fraction of the cost. Plus looking at decals they run from 10$ to 40$. Totally worth it. I can not believe I found this for as cheap as I did. This product is amazing. The wood is strong, smooth and sturdy. The bean bags are of strong material. It comes with a case for the boards and the bean bags. The surface is perfect for adding a decal, maybe having your friends sign it everytime they come over to play, or even have your children paint them for the memories. They are heavy so transport will require some heavy lifting but that's totally worth it for me. It means I have a better product that will last longer. So stop searching....this is it, this is the set that's the best deal and by far the best product. ... show more

Top notch Cornhole set for a fantastic price. I recently moved into my new house and wanted to get some good quality backyard games for a housewarming party. After searching all over the internet, I decided I didn't want a pre-designed set but I also didn't want to fork over an arm and a leg for a good sturdy set. I did a little researching and found that the cost to build your own set is really not that appealing compared to what you can buy. Once I finally set on buying solid wood set, I had to decide on a size. The two main options are a full regulation size (4ft x 2ft) or the smaller version (3ft x 2ft). Besides the obvious size difference, the larger version has no carrying bag, cost $30 more, and is a decent amount heavier. I decided on the smaller version and I could not be any happier. The set came extremely fast and feels incredibly sturdy. The whole set fits very nicely in the included carrying case. The "sand bags" are made out of plastic pieces (not actual corn so you can wash them) and feel solid in the hand. You can tell by just looking at the boards, that cheap material was not used to make these. I can definitely say there is no comparison to the cheap made plastic boards. The smaller size is more then adequate for a great game of corn hole. My only side note on these is be careful when handing them. They are supposed to come sanded and with a basic finish but I would highly suggest another sanding around the sides and inside the interior hole. Overall this board is quite solid for the price. The boards obviously come unfinished and will require some work but they seem to be built fairly solid. We did notice a couple of small chips in the boards, but they are nothing that a little sanding won't take care of. We plan to paint these with our own designs, so this will be perfect to start our project with. We've played a couple of games on these and they hold up great. As they sit now without any paint or primer the boards are VERY slick and the bags slip right off of them quite easily. The bags are made very well and are a great size and weight. They seem to be made of a very durable material that I think will hold up for a long time. My biggest concern with this is actually the carrying case. We have only used these boards twice and the zipper on the case has already broken. Luckily there are two zippers on this, but it's not a good sign that one has broken within the first couple of uses. the case is very handy but we are a little upset about this zipper breaking so soon into owning it. After reading lots of feedback on other for hole boards I decide to go with this one. I am glad I did for many reasons. 1st of all it is very well made. 2nd it looks and feels heavy duty but not so heavy that it becomes a mission to haul around. Beanbags and Cary tote that were included are also very well made. Stitching on those is excellent. Kids had a blast on it and had no worries about it falling apart. I was a little surprised at how well built this Cornhole set is! It seems GoSports pays meticulous attention to every detail and it shows in their finished product. The boards are ultra sturdy yet light weight considering it is all wood and plywood. The corn hole boards are ready to use right out of the box but can also be enhanced with your own custom painting or corn hole wrap. I debated whether I wanted to cover the beautiful and smooth wood grain, but ultimately painted the legs white and the siding blue to match the American flag vinyl wrap I bought. I would highly recommend this product, especially considering the low price compared to others with similar qualities. If there is a down size, it doesn't come with handles or a carrying case, but it is light enough where that should not be a factor. The packaging was very good even though a couple of corners were a little dented due to shipping. I would blame the carrier not GoSports for that and a little light sanding took care of that minor issue. You can't go wrong with this all wood set if you want a quality regulation size corn hole set that you can be proud! ... show more
