I have been wanting some lights like these for my back porch and finally found some in my price range. Since Brighton made these I knew they would be a quality set of lights and boy was I right. We have been having lousy weather when my husband has his days off so they haven't been able to be put up yet. I have opened them and plugged them in to make sure they work. All bulbs lit up and I was happy to see they included 2 spare bulbs as well as a fuse along with easy to follow instructions. I have a feeling I am going to need another set of lights to finish what I want to do, but this is a good start. They look like real glass bulbs instead of plastic. I am glad that they are plastic so we don't have to worry about any of them breaking. I cannot wait to get this set up next weekend when we have free time. Crossing my fingers that the weather cooperates. I need to look and see what other products Brightown has. This is my 3rd Brightown product and once again another 5 star winner! Thanks! ... show more

The 100-foot string proves to be pretty long which would help to cover almost any porch/patio area. The bulbs are nice since they are plastic and shatter proof, which I can verify since I dropped one. The string comes with two extra bulbs and a fuse. If need be, two sets can be strung together to cover a larger area. The end of the string has an open plug so the next set can be added. One of the nicer features is the bulbs themselves have two options for hanging. One hook looks like it could be clipped to a gutter much like the hooks for Christmas lights. The other option would allow you to run a guide wire/rope through them to allow for hanging in an open area away from a house/roof using poles to support the line. The brightness is good as well. The lights are not too bright but if you want you can connect them to a dimmer switch if you want the light lower. Definitely a good quality outdoor light and one that you should consider if you want to add some elegance to your porch/patio. ... show more

These lights are stunning! Very bright. They are very durable. Comes with 2 replacement bulbs and can be linked together. I’m definitely going to buy another set. Lighting just makes outdoor spaces look so classy.

Very pleased with the ease of installation, lack of tangles, perfect brightness and of course a good value. The spacing is spot on. There were even two spare bulbs in the package! One point; four bulbs didn’t lite. I had to take the ladder back around to troubleshoot. They were all loose. Just make sure that all bulbs are tight during installation. ... show more
