This is a string of small incandescent warm white Christmas lights. It is 25 ft long with bulbs every 3 inches for a total of 100 bulbs. Up to 5 strings can be connected. They come with an extra fuse and a couple of bulbs. If a bulb burns out, it doesn't affect the others...yay! They stay lit. I really HATE trying to find the one burned out bulbs on a whole string! These are indoor or outdoor approved which is important to me and here is the reason....l I live in Texas where we generally have fairly moderate weather, but every so often in the winter, we will get a hard killing freeze. While these mini lights are great for holiday or patio decoration, I specifically wanted outdoor incandescent mini lights that are steady on to use in the winter to keep my plants warm enough not to freeze, but not so warm that they would be scorched or burn during the short intervals of winter freezing. Most mini lights (or ANY lights for that matter) are LED, now, and therefore put out no heat and it is getting more difficult to find the mini incandescent lights. I simply place my potted plants together, including my big ferns, string the mini lights through them and cover the plants with a plastic garbage bag or trash can to keep them warm enough not to freeze but not so warm that they will burn or scorch. For plants in the ground, I string them along from plant to plant and put bags or trash cans over the individual plants which keeps them from freezing. It's so much easier to just plug in the lights and keep the plants in an environment that stays above freezing (especially at night) until the weather moderates. These are perfect and I will be getting a few more strings before Texas winter sets in. These lights are made in China ... show more

Now that I've gotten these fairy lights up, I quite enjoy the warm and peaceful vibe they bring to the "bed cave" - my bed is surrounded by blackout curtains (think of an old Victorian bed with "bed curtains"). The picture in the listing seems to be showing ~3 sets of these (a common image tactic in various product listings), just so you're aware of what you are actually going to receive. There are ten lighted strings, and if there had been any more than that, I'd probably have died from apoplexy before uncurling them all. Each of these strings comes in an individual coil, and you'd think that would make it easy to uncurl each one without tangling, but I must have a fairy light curse on me because every one of these snarled up on me, no matter how careful I was. Let's call it a talent of mine. Still, I did finally manage to get them all extended, and I'm enjoying the vibe. I hung them behind/along one of those nets you put up for stuffed toys, and it's significantly shorter than the 9.8' width of these lights, so I doubled it back on itself (and that created a more desirable, fuller look, in my view) I love that it has a remote (I keep batteries for this type of remote on hand), and can only wish that the timer function offered 2-6-8 hour options instead of 6-hour only. Not a big deal, but loads of products like this with similar remotes do offer this flexibility. I expected to have to deal with some "remote waving" to hit the sweet spot for the remote to work, but happily had no issues in that regard. Although I joke about not wanting to deal with unfurling more strings, I *do* wish it had a few more, but with the same string width - I would prefer the strings were not so far apart. I really like these fairy lights. They are super long (ended up cutting them to fit the space we wanted to hang them in - yes they still work after cutting them). You can use the remote to change the pattern or brightness. If the remote stops working or gets lost...you can use the blue button on the plug to operate the lights. The hooks made them easy to hang on push pins. And my daughter is over the moon thrilled!! I will say that your instinct will be to pull the string lights to unwind them but DON'T!! Those tiny wires will get tangled up in a big ol' mess faster than a cheating CEO. Take your time and work with the wire from the bottom up. Otherwise you better have the patience of Job! Oh yeah...the "instructions" are super small print like an NDA contract fine print. Bring a magnifying glass!! ... show more
