  • Classic and Functional!
Color: Navy Size: 16" Underseat Cabin Bag
I ADORE Briggs & Riley and saw this for a slightly better price than at the store. It's so smart looking, holds so much and is perfect as a carry on (empty) to pack all your purchases from trips, and a few snacks :) It fits on the handle of my larger one. I love the Navy color - it's classic. Pricey? Yes - but well worth it. HIGHLY recommend ... show more

  • Built to last and hold more than others
Color: Steel Gray Size: 22" Essential Carry-On
This IS the best luggage out there . Lifetime guarantee for any damage whatsoever. Don’t get fooled by over priced aluminum ads. I tried them all and just returned a Rimowa carry-on. It’s about a $1000 for two pieces, but this is the only luggage you will ever need. It’s a premium brand and can actually survive being slammed around by baggage handlers abuse if needed. Add the medium backhand you’ll be set for 10 days anywhere. Add vacuum bags and it will hold a lot. ... show more

  • High quality checked bag
Color: Olive Size: 26" Medium Expandable
Spending $700+ on a single bag was daunting at first. I am very glad I did it. This bag is clearly higher quality than cheaper ones. The overall sturdiness is great - without being as heavy as stuff like rimowa. My two favourite feature are: 1. The interior straps that keep your clothes from moving around once you’ve packed everything. They’re very elastic and feel like they will not break. 2. The compression packing mechanism that allows you to pack it full and then smush it down to make it smaller. I also actually think the medium is a great size because if you get the large and pack it full you will almost certainly be over most airlines weight limit. ... show more

  • Great bag and lifetime guarantee.
Color: Black Size: 16" Underseat Cabin Bag
I was hesitant because of the price. Glad I purchased.I took it for a long weekend trip via airplane. I had room leftover after packing. Plenty of pockets with easy access. Spinners are smooth. Zippers are heavy duty. Bag material light yet durable. This bag was so much better to take on a short trip because of its smaller size and lighter weight. I so like this product line that I purchased a 22 inch spinner from this company for my longer trips. ... show more

  • Quality bags.
Color: Black Size: 21" Global Carry-On
Briggs makes good bags but it seems the folks that design think they’re improving things while deleting previous features. All they’re doing is increasing their margins. This bag was not as good as my previous Briggs with respect to the minor details. Still quality bags and very durable. You cannot risk failure of your bag when traveling and these will take the abuse. Nobody in the drag wagon business beats Briggs’ warranty. As a professional pilot, my Briggs never let me down with years of hard use. Buy once, cry once. ... show more

  • Great quality! Take it on my trips and to work.
Color: Olive Size: 16" Underseat Cabin Bag
I like not having to lay my carryon on the floor, easy access to what I need without any hassles.

  • A perfect carry-on that holds more than you will believe.
Color: Black Size: 22" Essential Carry-On
I almost wore out there twenty year ago version of this bag. This updated version is perfect and the minor tweaks show this company listens to their customers and did a fine job. Just buy it! You won't be disappointed.

  • I'm not in love with this bag.
Color: Navy Size: 22" Essential Carry-On
Let me begin by saying that this is my sixth Briggs and Riley bag purchase. I purchased two for my mom and this was the fourth bag purchased for me. I am very familiar with the brand and luggage in general. I'm a buy it for life kind of person with luggage at this point in my life. Because I travel by bus >train>airport, I wanted a carry on spinner. My other carry on is a B&R two wheeled carry on. I love it. It's a workhorse. When I purchased this bag, I also bought the Travelpro Platinum Elite to test them side by side. The B&R is definitely more attractive. It's also slightly roomier because the support bars on the outside. It's a really lovely bag but it has two major flaws that make me wish I had kept the Travelpro instead. First major (and this one is HUGE) flaw is the wheels. The wheels on this bag are insane and make the bag difficult to control. The bag has a mind of it's own and wheels run all over the place. It's nearly impossible to wheel it in a straight line and requires real effort not to run into people in crowded spaces. I hate the wheels. Really, really hate them. B&R failed big time. The TP carryon I returned has magnetic wheel trackers that force the wheels to turn into the direction of travel and guide the bag. Seems like a gimmick but they really work. The second flaw is the new B&R system of compaction. Instead of the zipper compaction these bags used to have, B&R has switched to a kind of inside clip system to compact an overstuffed bag. (If you'll google it, you'll see what I mean). Easy right? Not so much. The clips often come unhinged and aren't a stable way to maintain the compaction. The zippers were far more efficient, more reliable and overall easier. I am positive B&R made this switch to cut costs, and it's quite unfortunate. I don't regret this purchase. I know it's a bag that will last a lifetime. I do, however, wish I would have purchased the TP at half the price. That bag is every bit as nice AND the magnetic wheels make it so much easier to navigate. Save yourself $300-$400 and purchase the TP. You are not missing anything special with this particular B&R bag. ... show more
