Description

We have reinvented the TOUR B X to feature our new REACTIV cover technology. Until now you had to choose more distance or more spin. With REACTIV you can now get more distance and more spin out of the same golf ball. Designed to fit golfers with swing speeds under 105mph, the new TOUR B RX has higher ball speed for maximum distance while having 'hit and save' performance on approach shots. REACTIV URETHANE COVER REACTIV is a smart Urethane that acts as an 'impact modifier' to deliver a shock absorbing cover on slow impact shots for more spin and control (wedge) - and high resilience on high impact shots for more power and distance (drive). The cover reacts differently depending on the force of the impact. GRADATIONAL COMPRESSION Added distance and forgiveness comes from the Gradational Compression core. Higher initial ball speed and lower side spin from the Gradational Compression core help give you an advantage on the course. DUAL DIMPLE TECHNOLOGY Extra distance and enhanced aerodynamics are a result of the Dual Dimple technology. The added distance comes from a more efficient ball trajectory thanks to less drag when the ball is in flight. SEAMLESS COVER TECHNOLOGY Consistent flight and performance are a result of the proprietary Seamless Cover Technology. The perfect performance and aerodynamic balance comes from a manufacturing processes that creates a perfectly balanced dimple pattern.

  • I've made the switch from Pro V1's to the Tour B RX from Bridgestone
Color: White
I've swapped back and forth between Pro V1's and Taylormade Tour Preferred over the years and I did try the Bridgestone RXS's when they first came out a few years ago but this 2020 version of the Tour B RX golf ball really seems to fit my game. I'm a single digit HC (7-8), have a Clubhead speed between 95-105mph, and avg. about 250-265 yd carry. I always carry two balls in my pocket, a Pro V1 and this Tour RX and switch off between the two throughout a round. I can tell the difference now, the RX feels slightly softer but whenever I measure my drives the RX is as long or longer (measured two well struck drives yesterday... 285yds and 303yds) and response on the green is also just as good if not a little better (less runout from where my divots are). I personally think that if your clubhead speed is over 110mph, you would get better performance with the Pro V1 compared to this RX (under 105mph) but then you could try the over 105mph version to compare. I can say I've played the same ball for about 3 rounds now and its starting to look a little beat up so time to switch it out (or lose it at some point). I just bought my 2nd box for $5 less than my first box so I'll take that as a win. 11/21 Update (1 yr later): I'm playing these Tour B RX's 100% of the time now and need to buy a new box as I've been playing my last two balls for several rounds now, they look like crap and just hooked one OB this last round. My HC dropped two points since last year (5-6 now) and just started taking lessons with a Pro to try to get to <3 HC (or at least a solid sub-5) but I'm still swinging the same driver speeds (sub-100 at the start of a round and full swings about 4-5 holes in). Same driver distances (anywhere from 250-300 depending on the wind and fairway firmness & runout) and I avg. 66% fairways hit. Every now and then I'll try a different ball for a couple holes (Srixon this last time) but have not found one that gives me more confidence or better feel than these. Pro V1's would be my 2nd option but with my lower swing speed, I can feel the softer RX compress where I don't get that with the Pro V1. Sticking with Bridgestone for the foreseeable future. ... show more

  • Best ball I've ever used.
Color: White
I'm 62 and have been playing golf for 50+ years. The last ten years or so I have lost about 15 yards using a variety of different premium balls. With the BRX Bridgestone ball I've gained back about 8 yards but the best thing is they fly much straighter then any other ball for me. It is a lot more fun to play from "the short grass". This is the best price I've found for these balls as well. I'm glad I gave them a try. At my age it's not worth playing a bargain ball if you can get these at a very good price. ... show more

  • Good ball
Color: White
This is a good ball. I normally play Srixen soft feel which is a good value in terms of price and playability, but the Bridgestones are far more durable. I can play with a single BRX for a full round but rare that I can do that with a Srixon. The BRX flies a bit farther with my drives and has the right amount of spin and feel off the putter. However, it is quite a pricey ball so my personal intention is to maintain both balls and play the BRX only for more open course designs. ... show more

  • Nice golf ball…..

Nice golf balls, but didn’t make me convert.

  • Great feel
Color: White
I used to use Bridgestone golf balls and switched to another ball. I decided to give these a try after doing a little research. My driver hovers around a clubhead speed of 105 to 108mph. I have played a few rounds with these and I like the feel from tee box to green. Ball flight and spin is good. I get a little more distance than my previous tour quality ball. There are a lot of great golf balls out there, but if you are looking for a change, I recommend buying a sleeve and giving them a try. I will be ordering more. ... show more

  • Very good golf ball
Color: White
I've been playing Taylormade TP5-5x for the past few years and I certainly have no complaint about them but the Bridgestone's and the swing speed specific ball made me want to try them. These work very well and are a little bit cheaper than the Taylors. I may have just had a good couple rounds in a row but I saw no change in overall performance or feel and I was getting about 7-10 more yards with my irons. I plan on reordering. ... show more

  • Adds distance!
Color: Yellow
I splurged and purchased these at around $45/dozen because they are supposed to add distance to drives. I found this to be true, at about 10-20 yards. Relatively straight, too (anything off-line is not the fault of the ball but of the person hitting it...ME). I purchased the yellow balls, which are extremely easy to see. I am about a 15 handicap at this point (aged 65). Recommended. ... show more
