Very pretty to look at, but so delicate it's almost not useable. The description said this is vinyl - it's not. The papers texture felt more like plaster paper. I was putting this overtop an old board to spruce it up a bit and started with double sided tape. I didn't want permanent adhesion until I knew I liked it. The paper constantly ripped as I was trying to adjust it. I wasn't able to pull it back up off of the tape without tearing. The pattern is somewhat raised, which looks nice from a distance, but is also easily damaged. I'm not sure if painting over the design will help seal the delicate surface, but I don't really care to find out. I couldn't even attach it without damaging it so I don't see a point. This paper ended up being really beautiful, but it was tough to work with. My primary complaint is that it absolutely would not cut well, even using a straight edge and a new blade. I ended up having to caulk along the border to make it look ok (see pic.) Not a huge problem but also not a preferred practice. My other complaint was that this paper appeared to bubble when wet/drying with adhesive and then again when painted. However, I knew I had smoothed the bubbles out and once dry it appeared smooth and flawless again. If you KNOW you added enough adhesive and had it smooth and it all of the sudden appears bubbly again, just give the paper an hour or two to settle it and I bet it will be fine. ... show more

I am 76 and could use this product by myself. It was not as easy as pre-pasted wall paper but the look and quality is excellent.

Used it on an ikea cabinet hack. Easy to use, apply and cut. Love the textured feel of it and looks really upscale (pattern) on furniture pieces. The wallpaper is paintable if you choose to match it with different decor in the place but I left it white to match with the color scheme I had.

After I figured out how to install it ( never put up wallpaper before) it wasn’t too bad!! Pattern was easy to match BUT I gave 4 stars because it does tear easy when you try to cut away excess. I let it dry for awhile before I used the razor blade (which was new and sharp) to cut after it was applied and that seemed to work best - cutting right after it was applied made awful tears. It is absolutely beautiful though! I plan to paint it in a day or two, but it looks good enough to leave as is :) ... show more

    • Very forgiving to my mistakes and looks great
I have used textured wallpaper before but it has always been prepasted. I was concerned when I was applying the wallpaper to the wall because I said "oops" quite often when putting this wallpaper up. I did tear it in several places and crinkled it when I was cutting it with a utility knife that had a somewhat dull razor but the torn and crinkled areas were easy to smooth out and very forgiving. I painted it today and it looks great. I can barely see the seams and the torn/crinkled areas are near perfect appearing, it looks very nice. The tearing was my own fault as I let the wallpaper rest too long and it made it slightly fragile. I also used a not so sharp razor to trim at first and then later found a sharp razor for my utility knife which made all the difference. ... show more
