We bought this when our baby was about 4 months old (when she started sleeping in her crib in her own room away from us). It was great to keep her from getting her hands and feet caught between the crib rails. But as she has grown she is a smart baby and started to figure out how to slide it down the rails and get her hands and feet over it and dangling out the crib. I wish the liner was a bit “taller” and “stable” for a stronger/smarter baby (the bows are cut but slide easily with enough force) for when the crib was lowered so we could protect her better. My son kept getting his legs stuck and twisted between the bars and this was the perfect solution. The mesh is breathable. I literally smothered my face and had no issue breathing so to those who say it's a health risk I say some people just need to find something to wine about. But yes quality is great! It went together easily once I read the directions instead of trying to wing it. If I had to find anything negative to say it would be that it isn't as see-through as I thought it would be. I am so happy with this purchase. I replaced the "pretty" cloth bumper with this mesh, breathable bumper & I no longer stress over my little one putting his face into the crib bumper. I originally started using the "pretty" cloth bumper to prevent my son from getting his arms/legs stuck in the crib slats; however, I was constantly checking on him via the monitor & even having to go back into this room once he was asleep to re-position him (he loved shoving his face into the bumper). I no longer have these worries now that we are using the mesh bumper. It does fall down if he pulls or pushes on it, but he is able to maneuver his legs out from in between the slats at this point. However, that is only when he is rolling around like a pinball in his crib. Otherwise, the bumper serves it purpose of keeping his arms/legs out of the slats while also allowing him to sleep safely. ... show more

I am a safe sleep crazy person. I won’t do anyyyyything that is even possibly considered risky. That being said we have a crazy sleeper who rolls around and was bounce to get arms or legs stuck between the crib slats, not to mention, possibly hurt himself. So we bought this and let me tell you... it’s great! I tested it a 100xs before letting my son sleep with it. And then I even watched him for a few naps with it to make sure it was ok. It’s super thin mesh (picture the side of a pack n play). And ties and Velcro’s into place ..so it’s not going anywhere even if they pull on it. I highly recommend it! ... show more
