It’s the go to cane for me. It looks really nice and it fits me perfectly. I am 6’4” and my knees are getting very bad with age. I don’t like those sterile hospital canes that adjust. They are ugly to me. This cane is a statement and I lost count how many times I’ve been asked where I found it. I love it because it’s 40” tall and my hand falls on it naturally without having to stoop. Unfortunately, I had the cane laying across the arms of a chair one day and someone went to plop themselves down not seeing it there. Amazingly, the cane didn’t break but it bent enough to crack a little. I can still use it but the integrity is not there as beforehand. When ordered another one they sent a 34” and said they no longer made the 40”. I had been to the shop and watched these being made. It’s made on a regular lathe that could be adjusted to much greater lengths with a simple twist of a knob. There’s nothing stopping them from making the taller model but pure stubborn ilk. They won’t even let me custom order it. It doesn’t make sense to me why you would ignore a group of customers who have a real need. End of the day…it’s a very nice cane but no longer available for tall people.

My first Brazos cane that Amazon shipped me was shorter than the one I ordered so I exchanged it. It was nice though because I got to see the artwork from two different craftsmen. Both canes were equally beautiful but each had its own personal touches. Had the first one been long enough, I would have been extremely happy with that cane. My replacement is the perfect length and I get complements every day that I am out in public with it. People ask me where I got it all the time! I am about to order one of their walking sticks for when I do some light hiking with my sons in scouts. My only problem is making up my mind on which one to order. One thing I know, I will see the pride that went into making it no matter which one I choose! You will be extremely happy with any of the many Brazos canes or walking sticks! BTW, they come with a Lifetime Warranty! This is the brand you want.

The cane is beautiful and my grandfather loves it, but it did not come with a rubber tip, so I had to expedite an order from Walgreens so he can use it.

My palm or my hand is still stained from using this cane daily. Since the finish keeps rubbing off on my hand. Hand grip is very hard and uncomfortable. Doesn't feel natural. Hard to hook cane onto anything while you use both your hands. Cane doesn't have a smooth rounded arch to allow you to easily hang the cane onto something while you use your hands. Cane falls off and ends up on the floor. Which presents another challenge. Clearly made by someone that does not have a handicap. Clearly they also didn't consult with handicap customers for feedback. I really wanted to love this cane... now It's a love hate relationship as I now am always having to chase down the cane picking it up from the floor or wherever it ends up. I will tell you though this is a solid cane. Your not going to break this cane it's super solid!!
