These are exactly as described, 3/4 shorts. Am 6', at my natural waist they are at mid calf. There is no drop down menu as is mentioned in the item description for this pair, though another color (camo I think) has the drop down menu; it states a 32"=Medium. So I went with the large as I am a 34" waist. The large is actually a 35-36" waist and I should have gotten the Medium, though these do not fall down like another pair of 36" shorts I have. Fabric is good quality, stitching seems fine. I own a pair of Brandit cargo pants, very similar, have had those longer and they have held up. I expect these to also. The snaps on the back and leg pockets/pouches are well done and so much nicer than the usual standard velcro. ... show more

Excellent quality, super comfortable. This was the first pair of these I purchased. I got the 3X, which are likely a little closer to 42, maybe a tiny bit larger" waist. The second pair I got was the 2X, which are somewhere in the realm between 38-40". I dig the baggier/larger legs of the 3X, so I just wear them with a belt. My husband calls them my "pirate pants". These are very long shorts, which is what I wanted. I'm tall and most of my height is in my legs. Normal "long" cargo shorts typically don't even reach my knees and when I sit down look like Daisy Dukes on me. These when I'm sitting still cover my knees and when I'm standing they cover my calves. The seller got them to me SUPER fast. Much faster than what the site or your order status would suggest. I've already purchased a second pair and I will be ordering more. ... show more
