This hair is soft but it gets itchy like other hair. It is not human hair but it is braiding hair that gets the job accomplished. The texture is soft and easy to use and install. Yes it tangles if you do not handle with care. Any hair gets tangled so that is not a deterrent or a deal breaker. It looks awesome and when you apply the hot water to curly the hair along with an instrument to curl it looks very nice. The curls do fall after a while and you are able to re-curl the hair. The hair itself is a bit thick in density which gives a fuller look when the right amount is used.

Though the hair is very soft, working with this braiding hait was difficult. It kept tangling as it was being braided. It doesn't dip well in hot water and it was hard to seal the ends. The hair curled as it was bring dipped. I had to dip it a few times before it looked remotely straight again. I wouldn't recommend
