This is nice rope, ideal for lashing, rope swings, or really anything. It comes in a compact roll, held together by bands, so it you want some strong rope to toss in the trunk, this is great option. The rope quality itself is as expected - consistent with nothing that would cause me concern. Being that it's polyester, it's slightly stiff when new, but the 3/8 size makes it easy to tie good knots. With only a little bit of working the rope, it becomes much more pliable. With use over time, it will soften up, but make sure to double check your knots and cinch them tight when the rope is fresh. Even though the listing does show a strength certification, in my personal option, I view this a more appropriate for things like rope swings, lashing, etc. I'm not sure if I personally would select it for rock climbing or life safety applications. That being said, it's a good rope and I would have no issues swinging on it or putting it to hard use. For my purposes, I would absolutely get this again. ... show more

I'm not sure, because I know how much 50 feet of rope is in this diameter, but when the box came I was surprised at how small it was, and at how small the coil of rope looked. It's in part because if the diameter, and even more because of how snugly and efficiently they wound it into the coil. They did a decent job of heat sealing the ends of the rope; just missed a few strands on one end. I'm going to whip both ends anyway, as an extra measure to keep them from eventually fraying. I would have preferred the 100 foot length, but it wasn't available at the time and I've been wanting to replace an old rope that finally wore out. I'll eventually get a longer one. Back in the day this would have been applied to more exciting adventures, but this rope is getting used for activities like pulling trees down, working with branches... things in the yard and around the house. It's small enough to be easy to manipulate, even with my arthritic hands. ... show more

No data sheet or information included in the package. I cut the rope and stripped some me of the outer shell and it looked is like it is well made with the proper nylon strands inside. I would have given 5 stars if it came with branding information and a data sheet.
