The 2 open compartments are just the right size to easily hold phone, glasses case, wallet, folding hairbrush, car keys, etc. There’s a zip compartment on the interior back side and also a divider pocket with a zipper, a slide-in pocket on the exterior back, and 2 slide-in pockets inside. Have bought several Brahmin purses as presents for my wife, all well received including this one. Reason for docking it a star was the weird inclusion of a pack of Salem cigarettes inside the purse! I love Brahmin bags and I've been looking for a smaller one for a while now. I fell in love with this bag the moment I saw it. I don't carry a ton of stuff in my purse, wallet, cell phone a small bag of candies, a pen and my car keys and I still have room to spare! When I was reading the reviews and people were having issues with the closure I didn't let that bother me, and since I've gotten it I haven't had a problem closing it. Love, Love, Love, this bag. It is smaller than I normally carry. It has nice devided pockets with good closure. That is a big help with organizing items. Wish it was just a little larger but I needed to learn to carry a smaller bag.
