I bought this purse for my mom because she always wanted a Brahmin. My original plan was to give it to her as a Christmas/Retirement present. Instead, we surprised her with an early Christmas/Retirement present during Thanksgiving. The look on her face and seeing the tearing in her eyes was priceless. She absolutely love the purse. It is a large pecan color bag that can be carried as a casual bag and also as a dress up bag. I love the look of the purse and how durable it is. I personnel own a few Brahmin bags and they are built to last. I have not regretted investing in a Brahmin purse for my personnel use nor for my mom. They are made from a excellent quality leather and the inside of this Duxbury Satchel has enough room for my mom to place her wallet and tablet comfortably. There is a side pocket for her cell phone and a inside zipper. The purse zips and unzips with easy and it comes with a shoulder strap which she can choose to carry to purse on her shoulder. Although it was a very nice and pretty Brahmin handbag it wasn’t the darker blue color I had hoped for! The price was perfect. Unfortunately I returned it to keep looking for and to get the Neptune blue color I love and wanted the most!!! Thanks anyway!!

I was disappointed in the way my order was handled thru Amazon.I tried 3 days to get someone to change my credit card information, it never got changed. The item I ordered is being returned, it turned out to be too big, disappointed in the size.

I am partial to Brahmin bags anyway but if this bag isn't gorgeous, I don't know what is. It is roomy but not too big, has inside pockets for cell phone, charger, lipstick, sunglasses, and other odds and ends, and a large inside zipper compartment. There is a handy pocket on the outside that is barely visible, which is great for keys or a cell phone. There is also a clip inside for keys. Can't imagine how this bag could be better. My folding umbrella, tablet, and wallet fit just fine, with room for a sandwich. So it is the perfect tote for work and travel, and yet beautiful enough to serve as a dressy shoulder bag. Most business cases are one or the other, but rarely both. I shopped for months for the perfect bag, and this is definitely it. ... show more
