After reading so much about olive oil, where it's potentially from and what blend it might be, we are trying different options. This oil seems to be a decent oil and of course we can tell but it seems to be sourced well. I wish there was a better way to shop for this. Anyway, we fry a lot of chicken almost every night. I've been very satisfied with this, and wish I 'd chosen years ago to get a good reusable squeeze bottle to refill with something like this. Much better value than buying smaller disposable bottles, and it's a great tasting oil.

I've never tasted an olive oil that compares in flavor. To use it for cooking, to heat it, would be a crime. Potent flavor. Unsurpassed. Packs a punch so be careful. So so good.

Very nice EVOO for every day use. Not filtered. Nice fresh taste. Product is not packed in a tinted glass bottle, but UV rays, which distroy olive oil (and wine) cant pass through glass anyway, so it's a moot point. This is not as good as California Olive Ranch, but it's a little cheaper. It does not have a press date on the bottle, but does have a "best when used before" date, which is very misleading, since you have no way of knowing how old the oil was BEFORE they bottled it. This oil is the real deal though, and is approved (according to the label) by olive oil association and meets their standard for EVOO. I use this oil for every day cooking (use only low to medium heat), but when I want a more flavorful oil, for dipping or cold dishes, I use California Olive Ranch, or when I can afford it, McEvoy Ranch, which is probably the very best EVOO available in the US. If you want to know what REAL EVOO tastes like, Bragg's is a good introduction. ... show more
