Bought this because I packed up my whole house to ship to the UK, including my down comforter. Ordered this to replace it and it is really a great comforter. It has a natural down smell out of the package. It is duck down made from nature. It is better than the smell of the alternative made from polyester fill a derivative of petroleum. Which would you prefer on your bed? I have had down comforters since I was 15 They all have a bit of a fragrance. It goes away fast. I always use a comforter cover on my comforters(change it once a week) keeps the comforter clean and you don't need a top sheet. Every weekend I hang my comforter outside to freshen it up. I take it about once every 6 months to the laundromat to wash it and dry it. After you have had one of these I promise you will never go back to the alternative. Actually there isn't an alternative to down

I needed a lightweight, cooling and fluffy comforter for the summer. This was the perfect choice! Well Worth the price! Quality material! Perfect for the warmer months~ material is smooth and won’t stick to you. Also holds its fluffy shape nicely. Thick enough for winter too- I add a fuzzy blanket between me and the comforter when it’s cold out to keep me cozy. This material does get and stay cool. I have washed and dried it in warm water and on low heat, several times since I’ve owned it.. (3 months ) and it’s holding up very well. Impressive stitching. I plan to buy another one, just to have it as a back up while this one is in the wash.. Came in a pretty box~ would make a nice housewarming gift!

This comforter is nice and fluffy just not soft as a down comforter should feel. It makes such crinkling noises and feels like plastic. I doubt it's really goose feather filling. After few months the plastic feel settled a bit or I got used to it but I could still wake up sweating buckets.....

I read a a lot of reviews…For the most part there right , it does have a funny smell but I put it in the dryer on delicate and threw in about three or four sheets of bounce fabric softener let it dry for like 30 minutes fluffed up perfectly smell is gone and it’s a little noisy but that doesn’t matter. I have a queen size bed but I ordered a king size and it’s perfect hangs over a nicely.
