I purchased the ball spinner to better clean my bowling balls and to make it easier to sand them. The product arrived in a large box that was well designed to prevent damage. I first used the ball spinner on my kitchen counter top to clean my bowling balls and it was probable 75% more effective than by hand. One of the bowling centers I bowl at tends to leave rubber and grime on the balls so I have to also use a nylon brush for cleaning. Using the brush with the ball spinner made this task easier and faster. I used the ball spinner to sand my Storm Proton PhysiX bowling ball and it took less than five minutes to complete the job and it did a better job than hand sanding. When I got the ball spinner, I wasn't expecting it to be this well-made but it was. The electric cord well insulated and is sufficiently long enough to reach the plug on a counter or on the patio. There is a small amount of vibration, which was expected, but it's not a problem and the ball spinner isn't going to be "walking' across the surface it's sitting on. As for noise, there's very little noise and it would be easy to carry on a conversation with someone nearby or listen to the TV or radio without having to increase the volume. The instructions recommend you wear safety glasses and I agree. Any liquid on the ball will fly once the ball starts spinning. I also recommend wearing a work apron to protect the clothes you're wearing. Overall, I'd recommend this ball spinner to anyone serious about bowling. You can keep your bowling balls in top shape for competition and you'll save money, in the long run, reconditioning your bowling balls rather than having a pro shop doing it for you.

Let's face it, if you're into bowling you know how expensive it can be maintaining or purchasing new equipment. This ball spinner was paired with an oven so that I could bake and resurface the balls as instructed by Storm. The spinner works great and I have no issues there. It seems pretty sturdy. The only issue I had was with the quality control. I received a spinner which looked like the power cord was spliced to add an on/off switch. Unfortunately, the inner wirings are now visible, and should have been detected prior to shipment. It was a terrible splice which makes me nervous because you are using water during the process. Hopefully, the next person will get a better result.

My Dad really wanted this, so I bought it for his birthday and told him it would arrive late. His birthday is today July 19th. And it was suppose to arrive July 22. I was pleasantly surprised as I got to my Dads and it arrive just in time before he got done bowling. I brought it inside, opened it and set it up for him with his cake and balloon and gifts. He was so surprised and excited when he saw it and immediately started using it on his bowling balls and showed me over and over how shiny they were lol. So yes. 5 stars. Hes happy so Im happy.

I liked the enclosed pamphlet with instructions for cleaning, polishing and sanding. Even though I have used ball spinners for 30 years, I learned something new. Loved the suggestion to use rubbing compound to achieve a moderate shine. I got great results with it.
