The claw clip seems to be very sturdy and great quality, which is awesome because I've accidentally broken so many of these hair clips in the past. Unfortunately, the bow attached to my clip was smooshed up in packaging and is now flat and wrinkled...I tried fluffing it up and reshaping it but it isn't working. This clip is very cute. The clip appears strong and has a little resistance when you open it so I know it will stay in place. Unfortunately my clip arrived with the bow a little crumpled up so it took a little bit of time to flatten it back out. I have long thick hair and could only use this clip to hold a section of hair.
