I ordered these towels in the olive knowing from the reviews that they were going to be thin. I am using them for decorative purposes and thin towels work good for layering and these will work well for this. When I got them I thought they sent 1 towel the package was so small. All 8 pieces are smaller than 1 of the average bath towels you see in every store for about $7 to 10$. I bought two packs of eight. The color is very vibrant. They do seem to be of decent quality. I washed and dried them, used fabric softener and they fluffed up a little, held up well and did not fade or shed lint any more than any other new towels would have. I think even though these towels were only $30 for the 8 pack that is very expensive for what they are. If these were $20 that would be about right. You really will think they sent one towel! I bought these towels a while ago and only used them for "look at" towels and for show. Two weeks ago I had company and decided to wash them and use them as actual towels. After 5 washes and 5 drying they are still shedding ALOT! The color is faded as they were suppose to be a pretty maroon but are now a very dingy ugly reddish color. Way too late to return them but just don't buy these. THEY ARE AWFUL!!!!! ... show more
