I wish Bourjois sold here in the US. I always stock up on these lipsticks when I go to Europe - and when I run out, Amazon to the rescue. These Rouge Edition Velvet lipsticks are long-lasting but they don't leave your lips stained or very dry. It's easy to wash off, even with soap. You might need to re-apply after eating, especially if it was greasy, and it leaves slight stains on cups etc, but I think it's better than having the lipstick stain and dry out your lips. I really love matte lipsticks. and this didn't disappoint. The reason for four stars instead of five, is that the color wasn't what I had expected. I was hoping for something more of a "dark berry" color, but the color that it actually was upon delivery was beautiful as well. This is just ok and does stay on but is sticky after applying. The selected color of pink is mauve on me. I like the size and packaging.

Came in a 2 weeks when it said it needed a month so that was a plus! The color in this picture is not what it looks like, but it is the color I expected because I looked at reviews about this specific color nude-ist. It doesn't smear at all, but it needs 20 mins to dry on your lips so try not to put this on while eating or something. Definitely will buy more in the future, I love it! ... show more

This lipstick is the best matte lipstick I have ever try! It makes my lips to look very silky - I could not achieve the same effects with any other lipstick. I highly recommend! They color is great- not too bright, but not too plain )
