A perfect score for this backpack. It’s very well made. It’s very high quality, honestly I didn’t really expect it to be so well made for the price I paid, but it sure is. Beautiful thick, soft, durable cowhide. The stitching is very tight, evenly spaced and beefy. The inside compartment is quite large as well. I was able to fit much more that I needed on my cross country flights this month. Maybe too much stuff. I love the fact that it stands upright on it’s own without issue and it fits perfectly under an airline seat as if it were made for it. No cramming needed like with a cloth material backpack. Everything stays exactly where it should. It is also very comfortable against your back and shoulders. If I were to give a lower rating on any part of the backpack it would be the adjustable shoulder straps. Although they are comfortable and equally as durable, they do slip at the buckle. Best back pack I've ever owned. I use it for work so I carry a lap top and multiple tools (About 30 bls of tools). The leather is thick and durable and holds its shape. The only issue I've has is the magnetic clips at the front pocket of the bag eventually fell off but only after about a year and a half of daily use. Well worth the money I paid for it on a Black Friday sale. I would definitely buy it again, especially on sale like I purchased it. ... show more

If you are looking for a leather backpack that you could throw off a roof and then get run over by a truck and it still be in great shape, this is for you. However, it’s SUPER heavy. And there isn’t any padding on the shoulder straps. It is very roomy on the inside. Unfortunately I had to stop carrying it as I have a neck injury and the weight of the bag would irritate it.
