  • Super bright light with halogen-like focus
Size: 9012/HIR2
I've had these bulbs for just over a week and can only speak to their design, build quality, construction and lighting performance so far. These replaced a year old pair of 4-LED bulbs that recently had one LED chip burn out. The old LED bulbs were plenty bright but did not focus at all like halogen bulbs. The product info for the Boslla units say that the LED light elements are located precisely where the halogen filiment would be inside the headlight housing which focuses the light as the car manufacturer designed. I believe it. The old bulbs seemed to throw light just in front of the car better than further down the road. Distant objects seemed dim compared with the radience coming from the pavement 10-15m ahead. These Baslla bulbs light the near road well but concentrate a lot of power near the top of the headlight cut-off were the projector's shutter is. This throws a lot of light farther down the road where you need it. An interesting side effect of the two-sided emitter is that my headlight lenses look like vertically-slit cat eyes. My one concern is that the fan and heatsink seem less capable of keeping the hot parts cool. My informal test showed the bulb base near the fan at about 200f after 2 minutes of operation at 85f ambient. I am running my headlights with the dust covers off - I think they would fit but would fear early heat death of bulbs closed up in there. I'll update if anything changes but, so far, they are working perfectly. ... show more

  • Perfect for high beam/DRL combo in (2008-)2012 Honda Accord sedan
Size: 9005/HB3
I am taking my sweet time to write a detailed review of how impressed I am for these cheap bulbs because it took me a while to run into this brand in the sea of cheap Chinesium LEDs and I feel like this company doesn't spend quite as much in marketing as they do in their product. Pros - Arguably the best light spread of all the cheap LED headlights. The board is thinnest I've ever seen in person and even including the LED chips on both sides, the total thickness seemed less than 3mm(less than 1/16th inch). Since the actual luminous source is below the surface of the chip, I can see why I can see the beam pattern that resembles the original bulb almost identically. On the other hand, the halogen filament is just over 1mm so until someone can come up with a shine-thru LED that can be mounted inside a hole, I found my favorite LED bulbs. - The luminous part(yellow part) of the chips line up perfectly to the centerline despite the actual chips being asymmetrical as you can see in the pictures. I have seen some other bulbs that use asymmetrical chips but don't bother to line them up properly on both sides. Another review has detailed pictures of the bulbs. - Easily turnable(clockable) with no tools in case your socket isn't sitting "square". My car's high beam socket is about 1/4 turn off of square (12 and 6 o'clock). Simply install this bulb like you would any other halogen, and gently turn it by the heatsink either way you want to get the LED chips facing side to side (3 and 9 o'clock) and leave it there. It will turn spin for almost half a turn both ways (=full-turn adjustable) but will be stopped by a notch on the inside of the ring once you try to go past 1 turn so you can still twist the socket ring and the bulb together to install or remove from headlight socket. But it is held by 2 silicone o-rings for friction so I plan to use a few drops of super glue on the back side once I dial it in perfectly. - Perfect as high/DRL DUAL FUNCTION bulb direct replacement. My car (and I would guess all Honda/Acura cars before LED DRL became standard) runs the high beam bulb at 6~8V for reduced power as DRL. Even though the specification of the bulbs says 9-16V input, it still lights up as my DRL and at about 30% brightness compared to full power high beam. DRL works, high beam works, high beam flashing works, perfect. No flickering whatsoever for my vehicle as I stared at my DRL for 5 minutes while parked. Another review has a picture of this bulb working in late model Honda Odyssey. - Fan noise is quieter than your car's AC/heat blower motor in lowest setting and my car does not even have "headlight back cover". Engine off, hood closed, you will never hear it. Open the hood and it's easier to listen for it but leaves rustling around is enough noise to muffle the fan. - The connector is marked +/- to determine polarity without trial & error. Con (with a simple solution) - When you try to plug the connectors together, it will feel very tight and won't go in very easily for the last little bit. This is because the bulb connector has locking tabs on both side but the vehicle connector only has locking hook on one side (which means the non-hooking side of the vehicle connector has no room to accomodate the unused bulb connector tab). So once you determine polarity of your vehicle connector by looking at the wires coming from it, (black is usually (-), or refer to proper documentation, or trial & error but my vehicle connector was temporarily deformed a little bit in the process to make room for the unused tab), I believe it is better to trim off the unused tab and have done so with a small nipper. Easier than cutting a cable tie. Don't forget to connect (-) to (-) and (+) to (+). Other - Not as bright as some other LED bulbs I tried (most of which had horrible focus), but still equal or a little brighter than OEM Bi-Xenon HID on my other car (subjective opinion). Believe it or not, you can have your lights TOO bright when your eyes go temporarily blind in the darker areas of vision, and this feels about right to me. The manufacturer claims 7200lm/pair, I believe the rating is honest comparing to 6400-7000lm/pair of original eqipment HID bulbs. Off to buy another set for my low beams. ... show more

  • Okay, but not great.
Size: H4/9003
These lights are pretty bright compared to halogens. Somehow, the stark light doesn't seem to make visibility any clearer. They don't cost more than high brightness halogens, and hopefully will last longer. I took off one star because they claim that the beam focusing is similar to a halogen bulb. It isn't. These things put off a nasty glare no matter how you adjust them. There's no way around it- you either have to aim these down so that they limit down-road visibility, or accept the fact that they will produce a glare that will annoy oncoming drivers. They would probably be great in a projector lamp, but I doubt that there is any LED product that can be properly focused in a reflector. ... show more

  • Hi/low = same
High and low beam are the same intensity. They are literally just shining through the upper Leds or lower ones. These should be using low beam leds and when high beams are engaged using ALL the leds so that that the light gets brighter AND shines higher on the road. But these ( Boslla Ultra Bright All-in-One LED Headlight Bulbs) do not. Also, the white portion that sets and holds the "bulbs" in place, with the gasket ring, are loose. The red portion is solid but the white part just slides on and holds the red like pushing a stick through some foam. Once securely fastened with the fastener to my headlight housings the red portion can be moved around, like I said because the white is holding onto the red by some foam. ... show more

  • Much improved
Size: H4/9003
Installed these on my 2010 Honda Fit and what a world of difference. My friend has the color change lights they make any recommended them. At first I went to the actual Boslla site and ordered them... they were around $77, then I found them on Amazon for just about half of that, so cancelled the order from the company. Very easy to install, although had to cut the dust boot on my headlight in order to fit the rear fan on the light. Don't forget to install correctly or you'll blind people. Best upgrade I've made, I can actually see at night now ... show more

  • Non-working bulb out of the box!
Size: 9005/HB3
I just received my 2 sets of Boslla LED headlight kits. I go to install them and one of the bulbs did not work! Even switched the plug to make sure the polarity wasn't the problem. Nope, just a brand new LED that doesn't work out of the box! Very disappointed. Boslla came highly recommended, but not sure about their quality control. I had to reinstall the Beamtech's that I was trying to replace. ... show more
