Again, late night, can't sleep, what to do....search Amazon! This is yet another purchase that my husband immediately sticks up his nose to, but not for long! These glasses are amazing. We walk daily and can listen to the music of our choice which makes walking much more fun. If your phone rings, the microphone tells you who's calling and a tap of a button on the side of the glasses and you're connected to your call. If you want to fast forward or pause your music, just tap the button on the side of the frame. The sound is 100% Bose quality. The lenses are a brilliant shade of whatever makes the sky a beautiful blue! The lenses are so clear and dark enough that you can't see your eyes. Lenses are scratch and break resistant. Oh! Forgot to mention that you can control the volume on the side of the frame where the Bose logo is by sliding your finger forward or backward. It's simply an amazing product. We just got back from a road trip where my husband had to make several conference calls. I was able to wear my sunglasses and listen to my audio book or music while he talked on his Bose sun glasses. Clear as a bell reception and no complaints from those he spoke with. I basically bought them so my husband could listen to music and talk on the phone in his convertible, and when we go boating, but we wear them all the time now. I can't imagine living without them. They are lightweight and fit really well. I'm super sensitive to bright lights, and these glasses fit perfectly and give my eyes the protection that they need. I'm so happy with this purchase and my husband LOVES them! Highly recommend them. 100% worth every penny. The sound is AMAZING! You can spend the same amount of money on sunglasses, and we have plenty of them, but nothing comes close to these! ... show more

  • Better than a good pair of earbuds

I got these at Christmas when they were ridiculously discounted. I wish I would have bought 2 pairs. I use them mostly for golfing for which they are incredibly suited. I can keep the volume low enough that it provides a nice background "soundtrack" for my round, while still being able to hear everyone around me. Perfect. The sound quality is exactly what you would expect from Bose. I also have their best ear buds which of course sound better especially with the noise canceling, but I would never use them for golf or doing anything where being able to hear the world around you is important. But the sound of these Tempo's are very good in their own right. In fact, better than you might expect. I used them in my car yesterday on the way home from golf since I forgot to bring another pair of sunglasses, and I felt safe enough to drive with them on. They are a little snug for my average size head, but they have stretched out already after about 10 uses they fit just snug enough. They look a little awkward since they are much bigger than regular sunglasses, especially at the temple. But they don't look so weird people will stare at you in wonderment. The black lenses that come with them are fine, like wearing a similar pair of Oakley's. But I bought a pair of polarized mirrored tungsten bronze lens on Amazon for about half the price of the Bose replacement lens, and they work great and look better, IMO. Switching them out is easy once you figure how/where to pull them out and snap them in. If you are like me and can't stand a scratched lens, these are perfect since a new lens is relatively cheap. Just make sure you read the lens reviews first. All in, they were a really, really good buy, especially at about 1/2 off. But even without the big discount they are well worth it. Especially if you are like me and don't like having buds in your ears for extended periods. These are similar to the Bose necklace Bluetooth speaker in sound quality (not as much base), but are much better for using with outdoor activities. I highly recommend. ... show more

The sound is exceptional. They look great on your face! Also I love the fact that I can hear what's going on around you while I'm driving. Perfect sunglasses!

  • Awesome Sound
Color: Black Size: Temple Length: 172.5 mm | Temple Width: 1...
Pro's: -Excellent Sound Quality -Great situational awareness -Sturdy -Comfortable, yet snug fit (very un-likely to fall off due to motion or wind). -Excellent rain resistance -Good quality lenses -Good overall quality you'd associate with Bose Con's: -Poor assistant capabilities. Despite the Bose representative's timely response, the assistant built-in appears to be Google Now, which is a dumb downed version of Google Assistant and is much less functional. (I am legally blind and found this virtually useless compared to the full Google Assistant found in my Bose C 700 headphones which works very well. -Tap controls works poorly. Typically out of 3 attempts to trigger the assistant, only 1 would be successful despite spending many hours trying to get the feel for it. -Assistant audio cue worked erratically. When the assistant was triggered about the half the time there was no tone to indicate it was waiting for a response. Overall: -These are very good for listening to music without disturbing others around you. There is noticeable sound leakage in quiet environments though (more so than my Bose Altos). The sound separation is excellent and the sound imaging is very crisp, as you'd expect from Bose. I would highly recommend these to people who want to listen to high quality sound while exercising and want to be aware of their surroundings. I would not recommend these to those who wish to use the frames in lieu of their phone's assistant. You will need to pull your phone out of your pocket. Finally, I dropped 1 point for the overall assistant experience. If Bose fixes this with a firmware update, I would grant these a 5 star without hesitation. Although the connection was solid, like virtually all my Bose bluetooth devices these constantly kept losing connection to the Bose app. Update July 31st, 2023: Not sure if it was a firmware update or new phone but the Google Assistant now works well. Updating to 5 stars. ... show more
