  • Elegantly designed /constructed portable Bosch SAW stand with non-flat wheels that is simple to fold and unfold, stores easily
I read the 1-3 star reviews and as usual, they are a mix of silly and stupid. 10 thumbs dudes whining about how expensive this stand is for their router table or it doesn't fit their Dewalt portable saw perfectly, it was missing a few pieces or it has a large foot print. Blah, blah blah. This stand is made for a Bosch portable TABLE SAW, not a bench router. I have a Bosch 4100 portable saw and this stand fits it perfectly. Pro and con: -Perfect height for the Bosch 4100. I had been using a folding Makita general use stand and it was way too tall - made the saw dangerous to use. -Nice quality, fit and finish and fairly easy to assemble. -The included hardware is perfect for bolting the Bosch 4100 saw to the stand table top -The stand folks and unfolds easily and compared to my 30+ year old Rockwell contractors saw, the footrprint is minimal, the saw is easy to move and it now goes up and down stairs with ease. I tried to carry the 4100 up and down stair and it's carrying a miniature atlas stone, not super heavy but hard to grip and cumbersome to carry. Now it's solidly bolted to the cart and moves with ease. -Solid, no-flat non-pneumatic tires. Thank you Bosch for eliminating the flat tire problem! -Fold/unfold mechanism is elegant, simple and effective -The people whining about the price are knuckleheads. A simple folding work table is $75-$150, has no wheels and is hard to move around. $220 including tax and freight is a fair price for a well built and well engineered folding, portable SAW stand. Trying to figure out what sort of an idiot would buy this saw stand for a 15 pound benchtop router table? The same sort of idiot who rates this product 1-2 stars. Con: -The assembly instructions sort of suck. I threw them away and winged it using common sense and mechanical experience. -The stand was missing a few washers and a lock nut but I dug in my parts bins and found comparables - that does NOT make this a 1 star rated product Bottom line is that this is an elegantly engineered mobile, portable, folding Bosch SAW stand that exceeds expectations with the solid wheels, ease of use, fit and finish and thoughtful construction. ... show more

  • Worth every penny
While still not a huge fan of their instructions, it actually went together fine But once I got using it, and how easy it rolls and stores, I couldn’t be happier. High quality, rolls and folds up great. Could have gone cheaper, but the reviews on the other ones scared me. This one is awesome. My saw didn’t fit in their holes exactly but was able to make it work. Love it! I was sawing on an unstable work surface, this makes my sawing safer. Great work height too! Great value for the money. ... show more

  • Incredible!
I never write product reviews nor do I rate items often. I feel compelled, however, to write a bit about this tablesaw stand. I've been working wood for nearly 60 years. I appreciate good tools and know what a good design is. For several years I've owned a portable Porter Cable table saw that I rarely use. It sits in my shop just in case I might need a portable saw but it's too heavy to move so I use my cabinet saw and walk back and forth when I'm doing a home project. I decided to get a stand that would allow me to move my Porter Cable and I chanced on this Bosch stand. I trust Bosch tools and the reviews were pretty good. I must admit that my Porter Cable saw was just a bit larger than most portable saws so I could not use the existing holes in the Bosch stand. I cut out a plywood base that was the same size as my saw and bolted the saw to the base and then the base to the Bosch stand. This stand is incredible! It's the perfect height, ruggedly made, not difficult to put together, wheels my saw around very easily and folds up when not needed with the saw held in place. It's a bit of design genius and Bosch is to be commended for building such a well designed and ruggedly built piece of equipment. No question, I would buy this again and I would recommend to a friend.... ... show more

  • No mounting holes fit Ridgid R45171NS
Purchased Ridgid R45171NS (no stand) thinking I wouldn’t need the stand, but after a few days realized the rolling stand would be very useful. Ridgid apparently does not sell their stand separately so I looked around and the BOSH seemed the way to go. It’s definitely a well built and sturdy rolling stand! It went together pretty easily (don’t over tighten the bolts). The only thing disappointing is that with all the mounting holes it comes with NONE line up with the holes in the Ridgid. BOSH could easily add a couple of additional holes - better yet slotted hole to accommodate slight adjustments. I had to drill four new holes - not difficult if you have a drill and bit handy, but a little awkward if you have to do this at the job site. Anyway, glad I wound up with the BOSH instead of the Ridgid rolling stand. ... show more

  • Awesome Portable Stand for All
Purchased the previous model (TS-2000) as a test several years ago. These stands are better than advertised. Provided you have the proper tools (you will need several metric sized hand wrenches), assembly will take 20-30 minutes. Directions for assembly could be better, but are adequate. Once assembled, this model is 1-2 inches lower than the previous model. I used this stand to mount a 10" Makita Table Saw with success, and the lower stand height doesn't affect my ability to properly or safely use my saw installation. You can not only mount Bosch products, but the stand is set up to mount several competitors tools such as Makita, Dewalt, Skill, and other. The biggest bonus for me is two part ... 1st is the quick, and easy set up with your tool or saw already installed. At least in my application, I have found the stand to be quite stable. 2nd or last is is storage. Once the stand is collapsed, it only requires a small footprint for storage. The stand/tool combination collapses vertically, so make sure your tool is properly mounted. This is awesome, especially if room is a premium to work or store your tools. This purchase (for a non-professional application) jas great portability, easy set-up/break down, and storage. I would recommend this product for the home owner, as well as a professional. ... show more
