The chain is pretty but much smaller and more delicate than I visualized through the picture Amazon posted to represent it. I think this should be bought and worn by a child or young person. In fact, it reminds me of a chain I received for a confirmation gift with a religious medallion on it because it's about the same size, just a little shorter. Good news is, I have been wearing it for about a week continually, and I have had no skin reaction to it. My skin is very reactive to impure metals. Also, it really is a pretty chain for the price. Great length and durable. I’ve bought this chain twice now. The last one lasted 2+ years, it only broke because my barber accidentally snipped it. I just reordered this one and back to reppin’ Jesus lol! Great length for any necklace too. Doesn’t irritate my skin and it’s simple the put on.

This is a very nice thin chain, I purchased it for a 1.5 inch crucifix that was a gift to someone and it looks great with it. It won't support anything bulky or heavy for very long but the quality is good and I expect it will last. I bought the 18 inch and I'm glad I did because the 16 would have been like a choker on her. If your neck is a little thick I would suggest the 18 or 20 inch for a better fit. I would purchase this again. Recommended if you're looking for a simple thin chain that does show nicely. ... show more
