I do place arch supports in them, for I have a high arch. They wear beautifully, and I get compliments on them frequently. I’m careful to not wear them in rain or around mud, for I fear what it might do to the suede. However, I got caught in the rain once, but the shoes fared well. These are typical BORN shoes - comfortable, fit perfectly, and look good. I don't know how well they will wear because they are still new, but my other BORN shoes have lasted a long time (even the ones I use for daily wear).

True to size! They will break in really nice. I wear a true 9 and these are just a wee bit snug....but not uncomfortably. I like the look with a pair of jeans! Worth the money. I paid,$129. I don't know why they are double that on the site?! I wouldn't pay that much!

Extremely comfortable, exceeded my expectations for comfortable level for boots. These are light weight, if you like heavier boots, these are not for you. Color like shown in picture. The shape of the shoes makes the feet look smaller and feminine (you can easily tell these are for women). I wear size 9, and this size 9 fits like a glove. But I have relatively narrow and flat feet, so you might need to size up half size or something depends on your feet. Seems well made and sturdy, but only time will tell. There was a small lighter color spot on one shoe, but should be covered by my pants (I’d most likely wear them with bootcut pants), so I’m keeping them, but giving 4 stars. ... show more

Cute shoes, but they run big! I am a 7.5 and ordered that size but it was loose on the sides and my heel slipped out, even with thicker socks. I usually can get by with an 8, but they didn't feel secure at all. I sent them back and ordered a 7 instead and they fit better, thicker and thin socks.

pretty boot BUT these are the most uncomfortable leather boots I've ever had for $139.00 ...don't buy... they run small, I bought a size larger and still to tight, cannot even where thin socks ...terrible!
