You will get the advertised amount. I used it for glazing a crucible. Make sure you preheat your crucible before adding the very fine borax or it will fly away if using a blowtorch. Melted into a glass like blob in the center of the crucible, must now try to heat it again and make it spread all through its surface. ... show more

Always use it at your metal shop and for any metalworkshop. Excellent with finer metals lake alu, silver, copper, bronce & gold in small furnaces. It will clean your metals and your pours will be even better. So use it at all burning times.
