I was using AT&T prepaid and I switched to boost mobile when I learned they are using AT&T towers now. I am so pleased I am paying 1/3 of the cost each month and this boost mobile SIM card also will work in my AT&T carrier locked phone. It has full functionality in my carrier locked AT&T phone and also works great in my iPhone iPhone 12. Coverage is great the speed of my download has actually increased from when I was with AT&T wireless directly. I get an average of 125 Mb a second download about 30 to 40 mb per second upload. The SIM cards are compatible with a lot of phones. The only issue I had was when I scanned the QR code on the SIM card pack itself I was brought to a site that wanted the Amazon order number or something in that regards and getting this SIM card activated through the method that says to you by scanning the QR code ended on a webpage with an error. So I downloaded boost Mobile app and was able to activate easily that way. If you have a number you’re wanting ported make sure you port it when you activate your SIM card do not wait several days later to port. You cannot beat this carrier for the value for your money. If your Dish network customer you get the $25 a month package for $15 a month. Awesome value for your money!! ... show more

    • QR Activation Woes

Tried to use the QR code included on the SIM kit. It seems to go to a a special website that activates Amazon purchases. It asks for the email associated with the Amazon purchase but after putting it in the email it gives am error message of "The requested URL was rejected. Please consult your administrator." The regular activation website link included in the SIM card seems to work after trying a week later. Hopefully Boost/Amazon can update the SIM kits in the near future to properly guide the activation better. ... show more

I shouldn't even give it a star. It was a colossal disappointment. When I entered the iccid number for the chip for my unlocked smart phone I got an incompatible message. Boost mobile told my phone was compatible a chip they wouldn't send me. Then they offered a locked phone of the same model after I sent them a copy my state id. I PAID for a what I thought was a working sim card, boost mobile representatives refused to make it right without considerable effort on my part. I switched my daughter to boost a little over a month ago and had no issues. The first month was included and didn't have to pay anything until the following month. I decided to switch myself and my first bill showed up for $50.27 for the current month and for the following month. I chatted with 2 people on Boost's site and the second told me the credit should be activated within about a week which the first guy did not tell me. I've got 1 week left in the cycle and still no change. The person I just got off with on the phone was not helpful at all and kept saying I didn't pay for the first month which I told her numerous times was included. Then she said it was because I only paid $10 on Amazon, even still why would I pay $25 if I already paid $10? Then she said it was just the activation fee. I told her I'm just going to cancel and I'm switching again ... show more
