Our floors are put to the test every day - children, pets or just everyday routines strain the wood. To keep your wooden floor long and well protected, Bona Home Parquet Lacquer Classic is the best choice for floors that are exposed to normal stress. GREENGUARD GOLD certified, it is also a safe product for your family, pets and the environment, with very low VOC emissions to improve your indoor air quality. Preparation: Sand the floor down to the raw wood, the surface must be dry and free from abrasive dust and other contaminants. Pre-treat the surface with Bona parquet primer and allow to dry for 1-2 hours. Process: Shake well before use. Apply the first coat with Bona parquet varnish evenly with a water paint roller (Bona parquet sealing roller) or a brush and allow to dry for 2-3 hours. In case of intermediate grinding with the single-disc machine (sanding grit grain 120), allow the paint to dry for 10-12 hours. Vacuum the floor, wipe with a damp cloth. Apply a second coat of sealant. The floor can be gently walked on after a day. The full curing is after approx. one week. Place furniture carefully and stick felt pads to the chair feet.
