I have been a Disposable-type-floor-cleaner-ette for many years. I have a 1350 sq. ft. home, and generally, I use 4-5 disposable pads to clean floors in the entire home. Tonight, I'm officially a Bona Groupie. I had a Bona floor duster years ago, but I was not too fond of the design of the pads. This one is much improved. PROS 1) The pad is attached with velcro (i.e., easy on and easy off). 2) The pad is super wide at around 18 inches (and yes, the pic is after the floor cleaning, so you can see what it picked up). 3) The pad is so wide it curls up around the baseboards (i.e., the shoe molding in my house) when you get close to the edge (Bonus!). 4) The microfiber pad is high quality (and I use many versions of those for cleaning). Part of it is scrubby. 5) The sprayer casts a wide net but does not overkill on the liquid (I couldn't figure out how to attach the video). 6) The spray attachment with the starter kit is refillable (yay, going green!). 7) Extra microfiber pads are on the way, so while one is in the wash, one is at the ready. CONS 1) A little pricier than the competition for start-up costs, but well worth the investment. By comparison, it will pay for itself in no time (okay, that's not a con in the long run). Small investment. Big impact. I cleaned my whole house with one pad and a few sprays. My floors are cleaner than ever. I love this cleaning system. ... show more

I needed a new mop for my hard wood floors and didn't want to use normal soap and water with a sponge mop anymore. This mop is great. It's sleek and makes my floors shine. It operates just as shown in the demo video. It was easy to snap together once it was delivered and it's nice to have the replaceable cartridge attached to the mop. No more running and back forth from the sink for soap & water. The cleaning pads are great too. I love that they are machine washable. I have already washed some of the pads a few times and they come out good as new after 1 wash. My only critique is that for floor spots that are really caked on there, I still need to take my wash cloth and bona spray and hand scrub it off. But overall this mop is worth it and does a good job. This was my birthday gift to myself. At 56, I have been cleaning my wood floors for the past umpteen years on my hands and knees. Bought this based on a recommendation and was not disappointed. Best. Thing. Ever. It’s very much plastic and not sure about the durability of it but for the price and results, I would buy another if I had to! I could have saved my knees if I bought this years ago!! We recently moved into a new house with hardwood floors (we’ve always had carpet) so it was kind of a new experience for us. The first thing that we decided to get was a mop- how else would we be able to get it clean, right?? We’ve used Bona products with success before so we felt confident about getting this spray mop. My first impression? It seems sturdier than the Swiffer that I used to wash the bathroom tiles with (trust me, I’ve broken more than one over the years). Not just that but the mop head itself is a lot wider…I can clean so much more with a swipe. It doesn’t leave any hazy residue on the ground either, which was a problem that I had with the Swiffer. That said here are some of the things I think you'll like about it plus one of the only issues I've encountered (and a simple fix to solve it.) Things I like about it: The spray system works great - The bottle is attached directly to the mop which makes it a big time saver. Each spray also covers a wide distance, not to mention a good distance! At the same however, it doesn’t use a lot of liquid. I have a feeling that my bottle of cleaner will last a long time! It’s easy to use - It took me less than 3 minutes to assemble the mop and I’m usually not good with these things. The trigger on top of the handle also works well in that you only need to press it gently for a spray to come out of the head. I was a little worried that it’d be hard to press but that wasn’t an issue at all! The mop pads are also easy to attach—there are velcro strips on the bottom that hold them in place. It might seem weird at first since the mop head sticks out of the pads but that's actually how they’re designed. They come with rubber corners that act as a sort of “bumper” that prevents you from damaging your furniture. The cleaner is effective - The mop comes with a full-size bottle of Bona Hardwood Floor Cleaner so you can start cleaning the second you get it! All you have to do is pour a bit into the reusable dispenser. A little goes a long way so you don’t have to add that much. So far, I’m happy with how the formula works—it has gotten rid of most of the dirt and grime from our floors! I haven’t noticed any streaks too which is a plus (especially since we have dark hardwood floors). What could be better: The pads are cheap and don't clean very well - The one thing that I noticed is that the pads that it comes with doesn’t stick that well to the velcro strips and they aren't very good at trapping dirt/dust/hair. I do like how they’re reusable, though however they didn't survive more than a handful of washes. Anyway, what I ended up doing was I switched to using these microfiber mop pads. The size of the pads are a little different but they fit well (I attached a couple pics to the review) and work a lot better at cleaning up messes than the pads that came with the mop. Overall I think it's a great mop I just wish they would of included a better set of pads with the mop so I didn't have to upgrade them but in the end it was a simple fix and I imagine this setup lasting me for years! ... show more

I haven’t been pleased with the most popular spray mop, which just seems to push dirt around and leave streaks as well as having expensive mop cover replacements. So we tried the Bona system and find it far superior. Fewer streaks, cleaner floors and a washable pad. Good stuff. We have luxury vinyl floors and will try the solution specifically formulated for them next. ... show more

After the house has been $1500 on getting the floors redone from the pets scratching them up. I asked the floor guy what is the best product to use and he definitely recommended Bana great product of floors look phenomenal they feel good they shine it’s a great product that is safe for your pet. You will not go wrong. You’ll be very happy with this product once you get it, the cloth cleaning cloth can be washed instead of having to buy the pads all the time for up to 500 times I’ve been using it for over a year and it’s working great.
