I got this because the other lotion I normally use was completely out of stock and I actually really like this! Not too slippy but just slippy enough with a good grip to where I can still dig in to my clients or give them swedish with flowing ease. Good at moisturizing their skin. I have one client who has hella dry skin (imagine dry skin but even dryer than you are currently thinking of) and i had to use a LOT on them but their skin appreciated it greatly and so did they. Even works great on the super hairy clients. Smell is unscented but it does have a scent. I can't describe it but it's not bad but not good either? Maybe more neutral? I don't hate it. I really like this lotion and would reccomend trying it out. ... show more

Bon Vital Original lotion works well, giving a smooth glide without being oily or sticky. The Original is absolutely unscented, an important feature for me. It stays slippery throughout the massage, and it wipes off easily. It is water soluble so your sheets don't need special treatment in the laundry. The price is excellent, about half that of the 8-ounce BioTone Advanced lotion, my other favorite. What sets this lotion apart from others is that it does not contain coconut oil, which is an allergen for one of my patients. Its main ingredients are sunflower seed oil and soybean oil. This is the only body lotion I used on my clients, never had an issue with sensitive skin/allergies. The ingredient list is fairly simple, and never stained a single sheet (and I had various styles and textiles). I used this solely on myself for several years, even my face, and it was beneficial to help hydrate my skin to remove finer lumps, lines, and firm up my flesh, and move lymphatic fluid. Was quite impressed with this lotion very smooth and glides very nicely when doing deep tissue and has no smell which is awesome! Hard to find one that works well with massaging, but I finally found one that doesn't bring up the dead skin which was very gross.
