This is the second version of this shelf I have purchased (previously bought the 2-tier for a fish tank) and am planning on buying a third (5-tier corner shelf for plants). It's a great darker "greige" colored wood look and the metal is a nice powder-coated black. It looks great and I feel like it is a good value for the money. It does not feel cheap like so many other "assembly required" pieces of furniture. Easy to assemble, all of the holes line up, and I love that the wall mount holes are built right into the metal frame so you do not need a tacky safety strap. VERY solid. 10/10 recommend.

I purchased this last year so our son could display some of his LEGO builds. It was easy to assemble and the fit and finish of this bookcase was excellent. While cleaning the bookcase today, I noticed a hairline crack on one of the shelves which was very surprising considering the weight of the displayed LEGO builds are far below the maximum weight. I contacted BON AUGURE and immediately received a reply. There are very few vendors, sellers or even manufacturers that stand behind their products. Fortunately, BON AUGURE does and their customer service has proven that.

Bought this to match one that is no longer available. Honestly, this one was better in every way: it was incredibly quick and simple to assemble, partially due to next-level organization and labeling of every single screw and bolt (in a sealed, attached pack labeled alphabetically), the shelf are textured and more solid than our existing one, and it has leveling screws on the bottom. We are very happy with it.

A fair amount of work to put together due to many parts, but not overly difficult. The one issue I have with it is that the shelves appear to be covered in contact paper to achieve the woodgrain finish & color. Is pretty obvious up close, but not from about 8 ft or more away, from where they (shelves) look attractive. The shelves are mostly covered if using as a bookshelf as I am. Am a little concerned about whether the 'finish' will stand up to cat scratches and dings. Otherwise, is a good value for the price, though, in my opinion. Overall attractive, very sturdy (have all shelves mostly or completely filled with hardcover books, with no bowing), and is an more attractive in my opinion than a wood bookcase with enclosed back and sides.

When the shelf arrived, I immediately started assembling it but ran into the issue of only being able to get 3 of the leveling feet to screw in properly. The 4th hole on the bottom of the metal shelf frames seemed to be warped or at an angle and it took me a long time to get it to thread, but it would still only turn one time before completely stopping and wasn't going in straight. The assembly instructions say to e-mail the manufacturer and they will respond within 24 hours, so I e-mailed them and heard back quite quickly with them offering to send a new part if I was willing to give my full mailing address and phone number (they are located in China). It only took a few days to receive the part, which worked just fine. I am extremely pleased with the shelf. It looks really nice and was easy to put together once I had all the working pieces. The manufacturer was constantly in contact via e-mail the entire time, letting me know when they would be shipping the part and went out of their way to make sure I was taken care of and happy, offering other compensation for my trouble as well; but all I wanted was a working part. I would definitely purchase items made by them again.
