These screws are very tough and worked as I needed. In fact, when through using all 100pcs, I bought a couple more boxes. I was building a new set of living room coffee / end tables out of hardwoods (walnut, paduak, mahogany, etc) and needed to attach the tops using brackets; the screws had to be #8 3/4", which are not big. The screws that typically come with brackets you buy at Home Depot, Lowes, Ace, etc are not high quality. In fact, I've stopped buying most screws from these guys as the quality continues to go down - stripping heads and twisting them right off, which is a terrible pain in the rear. These worked perfectly! I did not strip or twist off a single one out of over 100 used with my hammer driver. The black finish is nice, and tough as well. ... show more

Needed SS screws, used the few I had, takes 24 per drain, bag of 50 cost about what you pay for10 at hardware store. No more grate popping up in driveway. 2 drains = 48 screws perfect.

Had to find an alternative screw for our shower drain because the plumber screwed up. New house, 2 showers, one I was able to keep the screws that come with the covers, the other, the screws couldn’t grab where they are SUPPOSED to screw in to hold it in place. Used others, they started to rust. Got these- they won’t rust! As for the picture, shows how well the screws match oil rubbed bronze plate. Hehe.. also shows plumber screw up for too far down pipe. ;-( All’s well now! Just to mention... when you order oil rubbed bronze faucets, ‘SOME’ plumbing companies don’t put in drain covers to match the new fixtures... they didn’t even offer to ask. We made them come back to install the match...at our cost..;-( ... show more
