I have 3 large dogs with lots of hair who have slept & played think ( wrestle mania) on this bedspread for four months. I really worried before I bought this but it has held up beyond my expectations. I wash & dry it ALOT it has not faded or shrunk. I do wash it in tap cold or warm and dry on low with no problems. Also I read about it being scratchy on the backside with fabric softener it has gotten a lot better than when I bought it . I love the colors! It is so bright and cheery. We got a new mattress and I've been looking for a new quilt to make my room happier looking because the one I've been using is pretty worn looking. This looks great. We fold it up easily at the end of the bed because it's been so hot and we need only a lightweight blanket with the sheets right now. If the weather cools off some I'll leave it up to use. I plan on using it until the weather changes and then I'll to to my winter quilt that's heavier for the warmth. ... show more

Just what we were looking for. Not as thick as our last quilt. We love the vibrant colors in contrast with our light furniture. We have a king size bed and opted for the California King quilt.
