These fit great out of the box. I'm a 10.5 and ordered a size 11 so I can get some thicker socks on for winter use. They have just enough wiggle room to comfortably use with cotton socks, and just enough left over for thick socks int he winter. I wore them for about 9 hours - and I have no complaints. No chafing, no sore spots on the feet. They fit amazingly well and I sure hope they continue to do well. One thing I loved is that they had almost no smell to them when they arrived. These fit a great space in my life - I have a garden and compost pile at the back of the yard. I also have a dog. These are going to live near the back door so I can take the dog out, bring out the compost/trash/recycling and morning garden visit. They slip on and off easily and the only thing I'm upset about is why I didn't buy these sooner! Pros: All day comfort - right out of the box Didn't fill my house with a 'rubber boot' smell Warm, but didn't overheat me during the fairly mild portion of the day Nice and high boot length but very easy to pull on and off, and no chafing from the top of the boot Lighter and less bulky than typical 'winter boots' (though I'll still use those for snowshoeing, etc.) Warmer, more comfortable and fit better than the average rubber garden/muck boots Cons: A little heavier and bulkier than rubber boots Waited so long to find these and only bought one pair - now my wife wants some too!

I'm outdoors ALOT, doing all sorts of outdoorsy things. I also live in New England, where it's cold and snowy in the winter, and wet and muddy in the spring. I was looking for a pair of boots that will protect my feet from the cold/snow/rain/mud/etc., are comfortable enough to wear for extended periods, and have enough grip on the bottom to keep me from slipping on ice/wet rock/logs, that sort of stuff. These boots will do everything listed above, and do it all well. They're really easy to get on, are nice and warm, and although they don't have the absolute best grip, it's sufficient. The only drawback is the fact that they run small. Order a size above what you normally wear. I didn't, and I removed the insoles...now my feet fit great. My feet are still comfortable without the insoles.

Just what I was looking for to slip on and off to take out the bins, etc. Really well-made. And comfortable enough to walk in (although that's not why I bought them.) Easy on and off with holes to grip. Nice item reasonably priced for the quality.

This is my second pair of these boots. I almost wore out my first pair wearing them almost everyday on my farm, as well as fishing and hunting. I have a narrow foot and these boots hold onto the top of my foot superbly. They are as comfortable as anything I have ever worn on my feet. They are exceptionally warm. Worn with a couple of pair of merino wool socks, I was comfortable in -15F winter weather. I highly recommend these boots. They are better than ones I've paid three times as much for.

I bought these boots, hoping they would be THE boot for working in a farm situation. Where manure, mud, water, cold and all the most wicked things you could think of, are thrown at these boots. I wore these daily for about 5 months. First, the foam inside the top of the boot started coming apart. Then they started leaking (after 5 months). For the price of these rubber boots, I expected MORE. These are supposed to be, after all, a FARM type boot. Nope, just a boot playing off they are a "farm" type boot. I won't be wasting my money on this brand again.

Bogs Men's Roper Waterproof Boot,Black/Brown,9 M ... Returned for refund. Purchased for my Brother~In~Law to replace his worn out Bogs Roper size 9M. Had to return due to boots running too small,unsure if Bogs changed the style or if it was a manufacturer defect. While trying them out, working in the snow, his feet and socks were drenched. Boots were not waterproof, may have been due to defects, unsure of why they leaked water through. He had no issues with his old pair.They were a perfect fit, waterproof and lasted many years. The new pair may have just been a bad apple pair, so to speak, he decided not to risk purchasing a replacement pair to find out. Very disappointed the boots were not the same great quality as his old pair.

Bought these for Christmas for my boyfriend. Our yard gets pretty swampy and we had a lot of snow this year. He stays warm, dry and doesn't slip. They are very easy to pull on quickly because of the "handles" at the top. They are lined with warm material so he doesn't have to put on socks first. He usually slips them on without socks for quick trips to the mail box and such. He could wear a light pair of socks in them if he wants to but says they are too warm for winter socks. They also have a little toe hold on the back of the heel so he can easily get them off by using the other foot. Doesn't even have to bend down to do it. He usually wears a 10 and a half but someone else on this site said they run a little small so I bought him size 11. They were perfect!!!! Good looking boot too.
