I don’t recommend tapers for sizing up unless you are waiting the correct time but these are easy to use (if using accordingly to healing time) very cute tunnels! i just stretched my right side up to a 12mm and its only fallen out of my left which i’ve had done for about 4-5 weeks. its a pretty nice material and the smaller rings for the tunnels make it so much easier for the ring to stay. i’m sitting at a 12 mm till i get to a 20mm. sizes look to be all correct. don’t forget baddies, USE JAJOBA OIL OR LUBE DON’T USE VASELINE! 😭🙏🏻 but this is the only brand i’ve used for stretching and they have always stretched so easily! 10/10 i 10000% recommend! it was also pretty cheap but they have an amazing quality!

This is the second set I have purchased, this one for my gal. Both have arrived as stated in the listing, and in perfect condition When first looking at them, you may notice a slight difference in shape / direction, but it only occurs in the actual taper portion. The metal tunnels provided are excellent, and have not shown any signs of impurities or blemishes. The O-rings provided for both the tapers and the tunnels arrived in great shape. If you store them for too long (months) without at least rubbing them in your fingers, they will dry out and fail. These being acrylic, and not being able to properly sterilize them, should not be shared or reused by someone beginning to stretch their lobes, as it may cause inflammation due to buildup in the pores of the taper. The steel tunnels are more than fine to share (the use of an autoclave should be employed in such an event), I have even successfully utilized them as a monetary item in trade for goods. Cleaning and care for the acrylic tapers should never go further than hot water with antibacterial soap. The use of Isopropyl can significantly weaken the structural integrity of the acrylic, along with leaving callous pock marks in the surface of the allowing your skin to essentially adhere to the taper. As for the steel tunnels, Isopropyl Alcohol would be the most effective in sanitizing, make sure to thoroughly rinse with clean water and store in a sealed container. I would highly recommend these tapers to anyone due to the quality of the pieces, speedy shipping and the low price.

Solid kit, nothing too significant. Standard gauges, appropriate thickness, standard weight which gets heavier as the gauge increase in size. No irritation and appropriate length size.

This is a great price for what you get ($20). I wish I had a kit like this ten years ago when I started stretching (off and on). All the bags were labeled and the plugs are good quality. I prefer the double flared plugs but these are actually better because they slide in easier after using the taper. There is also a nice ridge to keep the rubber O ring in place. I'm not sure why they give you two tapers for each size. I just used one taper on my right ear, pulled it out and put in the plug, then used the same taper (after cleaning) on the left. From what I've read you really don't want wear the taper as jewelry. The balance is off and isn't good for your ear. Like another reviewer said, it would have been nice to have a 1" taper and plug too. *Update: Not sure why I didn't notice this before but the sizes listed on these in incorrect (unless I'm missing something). For example they list 7/8"(20mm). 7/8" is 22.225mm not 20mm. I was looking at 1" taper kits because that one wasn't included in this kit but the jump from 20mm to 25.4mm. It's misleading. I can't imagine using this kit to stretch to 20mm and thinking you were at 7/8" then popping in a 1" taper. That would be quite the shock. To clarify; the size listed in millimeters is correct. The 20mm jewelry and tapers are 20mm but they are not 7/8" like advertised. Hope I'm not confusing anyone here. Still a great deal though. **Update #2: One big tip I learned the hard way: When using these you want to push the taper in, place the plug over the non tapered end of the taper then slide the plug in right behind the taper as you push the taper out. I made the mistake of pushing the taper in, taking it out, and then trying to put the plug in after. It works much better (and is less painful/uncomfortable)to do it all in one motion.

This is a good product, however I wouldn't recommend stretching with only the tapers. The tapers are pretty heavy, so I also wouldn't recommend wearing them as an everyday wear. I used the taping method along with this kit. I made sure to buy this kit with tapers, even though I wasn't going to use only the tapers, because I used the tapers to help the tunnels in after the taped tunnels were almost the next size up. Another con with this product, is that even though my ears were the next size it was hard to put the tunnels in. An example is, that my ears were definitely the next size up so much so that I could slide the tapers in, and when I put the tunnels at the end of the taper and tried sliding the tunnels in it would always get stuck. The tunnels have a very deep o-ring groove, so I think that's why it refuses to slide in.The tapers and the tunnels were all true to size, however the kit goes up ever two millimeters, but the U.S. gauge system doesn't do that so you will have to look up the system and compare. Overall an okay kit, but if I would have known that it would be hard to put in tunnels after a fresh stretch I wouldn't have bought.
