Features

  • The Original Trigger Point Tool - Trigger points are tight, tender, contracted muscle fibers, which cause pain. Using a Body Back Buddy to apply sustained pressure to a trigger point can interrupt the pain-spasm cycle. When you release the pressure, you will feel the muscle relax as fresh oxygenated blood flows in.
  • 2 Hooks Are Better Than 1- The 2 hooks and 11 knobs (in 3 different shapes) were created to alleviate pain and soreness across the entire body. Unlike single muscle hook designs, the two hooks on the Body Back Buddy let you apply more leverage to more parts of the body. The 3 different shapes include acorns for deep tissue, round for gliding over larger muscle groups, and nubs for the lower back.
  • Full Body Pain Relief - Designed to be the only massage tool you need to achieve fast, simple relief for your whole body. More than just a shoulder massager, the Body Back Buddy is built to directly target pressure points throughout the body located in the back, neck, shoulders, legs, feet, and thighs.
  • Won't Bend or Break - The sturdy one piece construction is lab tested to be up to 30% stronger than other therapy canes. You can see and feel the difference. No assembly required. Ships to you ready to use out of the box.
  • Proudly Made in the USA - Every Body Back Buddy is made in Knoxville, TN from materials sustainably sourced in the U.S. Built to last, every Body Back Buddy is backed by a Lifetime Guarantee. If not completely satisfied, contact our U.S. based support team.

  • Great for myofascial release
Color: Blue Marbled
I really like this, it helps a lot with my myofascial pain. My mom tried it and really liked it for her neck, which was broken years back so it releases a lot of tightness she experiences from the surgeries she had, I'm going to get her one. My dog also loves to chew on it... that's not related to the product, I just want you to know he's a jerk. ... show more

  • This thing is AMAZING!!!
Color: Black Marbled Single
OMG Body Back Buddy, where have you been all my life?!? I've spent years rubbing my back and sore muscles against tennis or lacrosse balls against a wall, foam rollers, trying to do self-massage, bending over couches, and generally making an idiot of myself flopping around on the floor. One day I thought to myself - why don't I build a device that lets me push forward with my hands, but redirects the force into my back so that I can control the pressure and spot exactly? Then I thought to myself - what if such a device already exists?! Well I'm here to tell you that it does, and that it kicks ass. This is the most "hurt so good" amazing contraption I've ever been associated with. My wife and I fight over it all the time. I find a new way to release a trigger point every day. The little trigger point map in the instructions is helping me find tension I never knew existed. In short, this thing rocks. If you've ever laid on the floor and tried to jam your shoulderblade into a tennis ball juuuust right, get up, dust yourself off, and buy one of these immediately. Before you ask, yes, you need all these knobs and balls that jut out of this thing. No, the smooth ones from another company won't cut it. Yes, you need one this big. The handheld mini ones aren't going to give you any leverage, and leverage is the name of the game. No, you will not break this thing. You might give yourself bruises, but you won't break this plastic. It's solid. Yes, you should buy one. And no, nobody paid me or offered me any discounts for this review. I wish they had, I'd use the savings to buy another one so that I didn't get accused of hogging it anymore. ... show more

  • Good but room for improvement
Color: Blue Marbled
Good for digging into upper traps. Only complaint is that the two little knobs intended for paraspinal use are too shallow so the main bar hits the spine.

  • Transformative. The makers of Advil might see a profit loss.
Color: Blue Marbled
This device has made a huge difference to my quality of life. I would have rhomboid muscle spasms and pain so bad that it took far too many OTC and Rx pills to keep it in check. After using this religiously for five days in a row, huge nasty knots were gone along with the constant pain... and more importantly, I have something to help keep my back in better shape. All I ever wanted was some way to massage my own back and make a good job of it and this lets me do that. No more rocking back and forth against wall corners or any of the other bizarre things I used to try to do to get some relief. Whoever invented this deserves a medal. I was a little reluctant to order because, plastic. But when I read reviews about how sturdily it was made, I took heart. It *is* well made, and would have to come under serious abuse to cause it to break. It was worth every penny. ... show more

  • Game changer for fibro!!!
Color: Blue Marbled
Let's see...I'm 29 and I have: disc degeneration, stenosis, scoliosis, arthritis in my entire spine, bulging discs ranging from 9mm to 4mm, fibromyalgia...among others. This. Changed. My. Life. I am literally writing this using the Back Buddy. I'm typing with two hands, and have it perched directly on a trigger point as I'm watching Netflix. I get epidurals and trigger point injections every month...this could dang well replace that. I'm picky with my back, it's caused me more issues than anything. It's truly that good. I've never in my life found any medication or product that provides this type of relief. Thank you, from someone in their 20s with the muscles/bones of an 80 year old (as my doctors tell me...), THANK YOU. You've given me freedom to have mobility, less pain, and not having to pester my boyfriend for massages. Win-win-win! ... show more

  • Trying to do too much with one tool?
Color: Blue Marbled
I bought this on the advice of my physical therapist to work on my upper back/neck/shoulder tension. I also looked at the TheraCane, but since this model had more pressure point options/positions, I decided the get this one. Unfortunately, the wider hook fits over my shoulder better than the narrower hook, but the pressure point on the wider hook is pointed (not rounded) and hurts too much for me to use it on my back/neck/shoulders. Using the smaller hook allows me to apply the amount of pressure I find knot-relieving, but it doesn't allow me to reach all of the knots. A friend recently bought the TheraCane, and for my body size (5'-9", 175 lbs), it fits me (and my knot locations) better than the Back Buddy. ... show more

  • My Back Buddy
Color: Blue Marbled
I love this little guy. True, he might look a bit funny but he gets the job done! He didn't come with instructions but I knew just what to do. I grabbed the Back Buddy with both hands and tried the pointy end first, that was not to my liking. I flipped it around and aimed the round end at the knot up under my shoulder blade and knew I'd struck gold. I've never been able to reach that spot before and it felt Wonderful. I was simply over joyed that I'd finally found something that could target the spot and provide relief. Yep, he's a real miracle worker. I even found that I can hold the Back Buddy in place and lean back against the couch. I can then move side to side using the couch as an aid. If it ever feels to hard, I simply take a towel and fold it in half and lay it across the area I'm working on. I've had owned the Body Back Buddy for six years now and I'm very happy with my purchase. Debi B. ... show more

  • For those hard to reach knots...
Color: Blue Marbled
Is the doorframe losing its effectiveness? Is there not a buddy on hand to dive into your back? Is that knot starting to cripple you, even keeping you up at night? Then... get one of these. You apply however much or little pressure as needed to work those beggars out. They now come with more nodules for pressure points... albeit, it's a little small for larger fellas... but, if you're a tiny girl, like in the pic, it's a dream for when your significant other can't be there. $20 over repeated trips to a masseuse or chiropractor... get it. ... show more
