Really nice bread box. Larger than I thought and easily holds a loaf of bread and a 6 pack of English muffins with room to spare. Happy to have my counter top cleaned up. Was a little concerned that a couple of reviewers had trouble with the lid but (happily) mine fits just right. No issues at all. Would definitely recommend! ... show more

    • The lid warped on the second use.
On the second use of this bread box, I put two ciabatta rolls in it for a couple of days. When I came back to it, the lid was warped and no longer fit on the box. The lower part of the lid would not seat properly. I assume this was due to the moisture of the rolls. Whatever the reason, it shouldn't happen when using the box for its designed purpose. ... show more

    • Thoughtful and functional
This bread box works really well. If you have a loaf, you can cut on the board and the close it with the lid. If you bought pastries, flip the lid to be the container and the board takes turn to be the lid. It also has adjustable ventilation hole if needed to release heat.

    • Lid warps
The lid is made of a thin bamboo ?sheet that warps easily, and it cannot be closed (to be clear, it was never washed, or put in the dishwasher), so I consider this a manufacturing defect.

I love the clean lines and it keeps my countertop looking orderly. Easily holds 2 loaves of store bought bread (I’ve never made bread in my life).

    • Not very functional
I was very happy with the overall design, but after about 1 week the lid wasn't fitting quite right. It's been almost 3 weeks now and the lid has warped into a slight v and we are unable to close the box at all. I would love for them to update the lid - maybe create a thicker piece of wood without the slits? The bamboo piece itself isn't cheap, but however it's formed causes it to warp no matter how cool and dry your living air is. ... show more
