    • Well built trailer steps...UNDER $100!
I purchased this step for my bass boat trailer. Trying to get into the bow of the boat by stepping only on the tongue, can be dangerous (especially if it is wet). This trailer step solves that problem. I can climb right up the steps onto the boat's deck with stability. The step came well-packaged. It seems like good construction (welds, material thickness, paint, etc.) I look forward to many years of use with this step. There were no instructions included, but it is a very straightforward install. Note the bracket mounting bolts are not galvanized - so they may rust over time. I did apply a little blue lock compound to the small Allen-head hardware that attaches the handle - just so it will stay more secure. ... show more

Great product for the price. Easy installation right out of the box. Took all of 10mins to install. I did add the nonskid tape to the steps. Overall I am very satisfied with these steps.

    • Sturdy, Safe, and Worth the Small Fixes
Solid product once you dial it in a little. The steps themselves are sturdy, but I did have to use my zerk nut tool to install the bolts. Maybe they’re supposed to go in without a tool and only the fitting and a bolt, but I didn’t see any way that was happening. The hardware is decent, though I added blue Loctite along with the lock washers just to make sure everything stays tight. Once mounted, it feels strong and stable — exactly what I needed. My 80-year-old father-in-law is stubborn and refuses to quit fishing, so anything that makes getting on and off the boat safer is a win. This does the job well after a few tweaks. ... show more

Bought these steps for my ski boat. Getting in and out of the boat was a little sketchy before. I’m 400lbs and these steps make it way easier and safer than just stepping on the trailer tongue. Only thing I added was some non skid tape to the steps for more grip.

    • Hand rail was useless.
Perfect for my ket west bay reef however, couldn't use the hand rail.it came up to close to.the boat which put it right in your path to board.
